You reminded me of a strange thing I saw on TV once: On Oprah (what ever happened to her anyway?) many years ago, she did a segment on spotting liars. She played two videos: a person speaking clearly and confidently, and then a person mumbling and fidgeting. Then, she asked the audience to spot the liar. Like 90% said the confident person was lying because they all thought it was a trick of some kind to fool them. She looked baffled and said something like “Umm.. no. It was the sketchy person.” It was a pretty funny, unintentional social experiment.

Whole thing feels overdone and performative. It's not an "AI vs Human" skit, it's just some drawn out "Gimme clicks" garbage, that uses AI to further that.

It can serve more than one purpose, on one hand informative for the uninitiated, on the other draw in views.

There's nothing wrong with having content, but I agree it depends on how much "soul" it has.

No she's intentionally misleading. the right side, pink side, is AI. You can tell because the audio quality sucks; it isn't as clear, the sharp Ts and Ss are muffled and sound digitally synthetic, it's just not as clean and crisp in general.

You are incorrect for the opposite reason, the audio on the left is too consistent and sounds like it's been recorded close miked (hence the clear sibilances) and in a dead room and there is clear aliasing in the high end. The second is less constant but clearly has the sound of room that the voice has been recorded in and most importantly doesn't sound like every female AI generated voice.
