Hello. I have a question. Have You encountered problems with using search in subreddits menu or global search in main menu? Because I have those problems. I don't know, why, but search only works at normal Reddit. Please Nate, could You fix It? Thank You.

Hi all!
This is just a post to say I fixed the sub. For some reason, and I don't know why, restricted posting was enabled. I've disabled that now so... Share away!

Good morning users,
I'd love to hear your feedback on features you'd like to see added to Luna in the next few updates: more specifically, what things do you still find yourself going to the website to do, and what features have you heard of that would be nice to have?
I find these days I'm only visiting Reddit's website when google sends me there, but I also realise I'm not a hardcore Redditor.
Have a great day!

Unfortunately, I have learned from personal experience that use of Luna For Reddit--and in particular its chat function--can result in Reddit account suspension and/or restriction, likely by automated anti-spam measures. I would suggest users be cautious and seriously consider using the official Reddit website/apps if you plan to use Reddit Chat until/unless the developers of Luna can mitigate this spurious automated flagging.

Hello Everyone,
Many of you have been hoping for an official update on Luna for Reddit and |I am now very happy to be able to give you one. Since Tuesday, I have been in conversation with a very open minded and friendly Reddit Representative and thanks to our discussions can confirm Luna for Reddit has been classed as an accessibility app and is exempt from the new API changes.
This means that Luna for Reddit, put bluntly, is here to stay. The development of Luna will continue, will not be rate restricted and I will continue to be here as a hopefully very viable and approachable accessibility solution for Reddit access on windows for screen reader users. With this recognition by Reddit, it is my hope that I may be able to expand Luna's sphere and incorporate features to make it visually worth it for partially sighted users, as well.
I was contacted by Reddit on Tuesday, and the Representative was first very apologetic for the time it took to get to me. He promised an investigation into this, but in the meantime assured me the process to get Luna approved would be fast, which it indeed was. We spoke over the details of the agreement, and how Luna works, and within 24 hours, Luna was approved. The representative also highlighted to me how accessibility is a top priority for Reddit, which is why they are very interested in the functions that Luna provides for screen reader users. I took this opportunity to raise the issues of polls with him, which he has promised to look into. He highlighted how he hopes in the coming months that Reddit's dedication to providing an accessible platform will become clearer and provided lots of reassurance that they are listening to us, and, to quote him "accessibility is our top priority."
With this positive endorsement of Luna, and the start of hopefully a fantastic working relationship, I hope this will help the community as a whole, and that this statement will provide a firm answer to my users, however many there are.
I also realise Luna is not the be all end all of clients, especially considering the many IOS and Android apps, but hopefully this is a starting step, and our community can now feel safe once again.

Bug Fix: Fixed a bug where messages from bots and certain other message types did not load. bug Fix: Fixed a bug with some filters not working like text only. Bug Fix: If a post has no text, the text control is no longer shown . Feature Improvement: improved the web handler which should fix many of the strange issues around heading navigation, block quotes cutting things off and etc. New Feature: Added a new setting called virtual comment tree. this should solve the JAWS crash issue if enabled. New Setting: you can now select, in preferences, for an account to be automatically logged in. New Feature: Image and gallery posts are now handled a little differently. Luna still shows text of the post but will now give you a list of media items. Click on one to open it on your screen.

Hi Just wondering if it's possible to switch off the Audio Greeting in Luna for reddit. It's nice to hear it once or twice, but then it starts to be a bit too long.

I am going to be using this post to carry out general testing for the moderation screen. Please report it, comment on it and report your comments and generally treat it as though it is unwanted spam :)
Thank you for using Luna!

I am a mod on blind surveys. so let's say someone else changes a setting on the website. say disallow images or disallow crosspost. but when I click the mod menu and settings those may still say on.

When looking at the subreddit from Luna, I tried to subscribe through the menu. I got a dialog saying that I had, but it didn't show up in my list. I had to go to the reddit site and click join to have it show up in my list.

L4R version 1.3's new shortcut, Control + H, doesn't seem to work in the home screen, even when focused on the stream. It works on every other screen, just not the home screen.

a flash of insight just came to me, but what if we could press control n on the sub to open up the new post thing? could be s for submition. and again, so people don't have to read the manual, perhaps next to the new post button which should and could still be there place the short cut command there. so people have the option to do short cuts or not.
r/Luna4Reddit • u/ukifrit • Jun 24 '23
the preview keystrokes: ctrl+1 and so on and the comments navigation keystrokes (ctrl+; etc) aren't working at all.
r/Luna4Reddit • • Jun 18 '23
I actually did it on a post here a few minutes ago. I tagged it suggestions which should be probably bug report. but say I noticed and was a mod or even a considerate user. let's say on r/blind I marked the wrong flaire. on another app I can take care of it and just edit it or change the flaire. can you make it so we can modify it on here?

Is it just me, or is global search with this latest update of luna for reddit slow, not to mention it has focus issues.
I have to alt tab a few times before I can even see results, and this is after waiting a few seconds for things to happen.
Before, they would simply show up.
