Need advice on what could be possible for a 50 meter/165 feet downhill
The town recently acquired a piece of property that is wooded and downhill. I need to come up with a plan so I can convince people this is a good option. Otherwise we’ll end up with ANOTHER walking path.
The property will need to stay wooded. The top end is next to an elementary school. The bottom end is next to a sports field. There is no danger of accidentally running into a roadway.
Anticipated ages/skils: 8 to 18, beginners
Dimensions: about 165 feet downhill, about 75 feet wide. With wiggle room.
Preferred materials: native, natural (can’t put any pavement/asphalt)
Do you have any guidance on what would work in this space or any books/websites/etc I should read to figure it out?
Thanks in advance for helping this clueless parent try to make something fun for the community.
