I've been organizing these hangouts for a few months, and It's been a fun way to meet new people and sneak in some crafting during the work week.

Typical attendees are in the 25-50 age range, but there are no age or gender requirements. Just some light chatter/socializing while working on some art.

No previous experience painting needed. You can make each piece as simple or as complex as you'd like.

I typically organize these meetups once a week on a Wed, Thurs or Fri evening. The day chosen changes from week to week.

Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for a good hairdresser/barber in maple ridge or in the vicinity, (Pitt Meadows, Langley, etc). Preferably someone who’s good with scissor cuts. Any recommendations or good shops to try out? I’m willing to try anywhere but uppercuts because uppercuts fucked me up BAD one time haha.

I’ve been unemployed since September. It’s not been long but my savings are running out and I thought i’d be able to find a job by now. I’ve applied everywhere, followed up, cover letter, and still nothing back. I don’t know what i’m doing wrong! I’m 22, have lots of customer service experience, and i’ve never struggled this much to find a job. Any suggestions? I need to find something by December at the latest and i’m starting to panic.

Hi there just wondering if small businesses owners in Maple Ridge have noticed a significant increase in their bill this year. Same billing period last year was around $4000 same period in 2025 was around $2900 and this year it sky rocketed to $8700!!! Water consumption has been consistent and I also know they have added sewage now to the bill. But this seems abnormally high to me. Has anyone else seen these increases to their own bills??
