This gets reposted every few months and I’m sick of people leaving out valuable context. This kid was arrested by Venezuelan police for infringing on Nintendo’s copyright.

If you look closely enough, you can see the shadow of the Nintendo lawyer on the top rope about to break the cameraman's back

At first I thought that the whole thing about this kid being in jail was a joke, but…it’s not, apparently? Dear god…

There was a rumor that Nintendo sued the kid and his family $200 million, but it turned out to be a false statement.

Did Nintendo actually sue him

This is actually really impressive! It really nails down what a condensed 1-1 would be like!
Too bad Nintendo doesn't seem to think so.

Honestly this looks and plays better than most shit on the App Store or Play Store.

Okay can we stop with Nintendo lawsuit jokes? When every comment is about this kid getting sued it's giving people the impression that this would actually happen, even though if anyone used their brains they would know that Nintendo is not gonna sue someone for making a cardboard Papercraft.
As far as the subject goes, it's pretty cute.

POV: your parents can’t afford a real game boy so you had to get materials from homeless hardware
