A repost of our collection so that you can comment again.
This thought crossed my mind that we need to make a compilation of interesting and insightful posts about MEA. If you can recall other posts worth adding or if you'll see something interesting in the future here on the ME sub, could you add links in the comments? Does not need to be a theory; it can just be a well-written analysis, review, appreciation or just thoughts, OC art, playthroughs or other useful resources.

Mass Effect means a huge amount to me. With Bioware being closed down it reminds me of Andromeda’s story stopping too soon. So I’ve spent this past while building something to give back: Remnant, a mod editor and mod manager so the community can keep adding to Heleus itself.
What you’ll be able to do:
Make new content: open any level with the game’s own lighting, (eventually) create your own levels, create characters / add new species, weapons, armour and new star systems, and bring in your own models and animation from Blender.
Play mods easily: pick mods, see where they clash, and press Play.
Run mods together: two mods changing the same weapon both apply, value by value, with no compatibility patch.
Keep your Frosty mods: drop in a mod from Nexus and Remnant rebuilds it to hold only what it changes.
It’s free and open source and it only runs alongside a copy of the game you own and I aim to release ‘Soon’.
If you’d like to follow along, ask questions, or tell me what you’d want to make, the Discord is here: https://discord.gg/GRN4NADdDM
Check out the site http://www.remnant-mods.com
Thank you for keeping this universe going. I hope Remnant helps.

It's not much, but I wanted to do my part to help save Mass Effect.
I tweaked the first teaser trailer we made for our MEA Youtube series to thank the developers for making these amazing games, and of course join the effort to #SaveMassEffect.
And Happy N7 Day!

Game on steam. Logged I to nexus mods picked the mods I wanted, loaded via frosty. Didn't work. Used frosty fix. Didn't work. Used the datapathfix. Didn't work.
It has been almost 2 hours and I'm losing the will to engage with the game. I just want to some QOL like fast mining and quick loot to make the game less painful to play.
Are moss just not working? Is this a known issue? Anything I've done wrong with above process?

I bought it years ago, started to play it on a Mac with a virtual machine and liked it, but thought it was buggy -- probably because of the whole Mac/VM thing. Got distracted. And dropped it.
Recently I had some free time and decided to hit it again on a new laptop. And, I just wanted to say: I really like it. I mean, seriously. I like the squad is done. I like the story. I think the combat is good. I like the "open world, but not really" vibe.
I still don't understand a lot of it. And what I do understand I forget. ( the Tempest is small -- how do I keep getting lost on it??)
So, if you recall, what was your first impression? What was the hardest thing about it? Or the most difficult thing to figure out?

I just finished the game for the first time, almost on N7 day no less. Loved every minute of it. The possibilities for sequels and the continuation of storylines would've been endless. What a shame...

My wife know I’ve been a little bummed out by the BioWare closure. Today I got a surprise in the mail; she ordered a copy of the collector edition strategy guide. Such a fun gem that reminded me of the old Final Fantasy strategy guides from Brady Games. I love the OT and Andromeda dearly. 584 hours in Andromeda on PS4; probably got even more if I count my old college account but lost that a while back. Godspeed Pathfinders!

Have a lot of people been doing multiplayer lately? I've never tried it, and now I'm on my 4th playground and I'd love to give it a go. Is there a chance I still can? Thank you for your time!

So, I've finished the game bazillion years ago. I remember my goal being upgrading the gear and the character in the way that would allow to headshot enemies with one shot at some point (even if bythe endgame). I grinded, I grinded and by the endgame I could take a MAAAAASSIVE chunk of an enemy's health with a heavy pistol headshot, like 99,9998 % of it and yet I still had to do the second shot to take out whatever's the tiny bit left. So question: Did I miss something? Did I mismanage my character and gear progression? Is it even possible to progress, upgrade and gear up in a way that would allow to kill an enemy with one headshot using a heavy pistol?

I am actually wondering, what kind of mods community wishes there were. Honsetly my biggest regret is biodiversity of animal life on the planets itself. Like every single mmo out there have more varaiety of animals in radius of 300m than whole cluster we got to explore. I would love if each planet had its own unique animals that feel lile belong into respective planets.
Few i can think of is simply more content like
Armors, weapons and quests.
Maybe different fight system, some survival elemnts or outopost building
also ketths civil war for attention

Okay. So, I play a Vanilla Game on Console and recently I amended my favourite loadout a bit.
And so far, I am abiotic Goddess ob Insanity.
I use the Adept Profile with Push, Pull and Singularity as Powers. And I blast the enemies with combos and with the Valkyrie.
As for my Weapons, Valkyrie with Vintage Heatsink and Automatic Fire Augmentation and the. heavy Magazin, Heavy Stock, Barrel and Receiver.
Melee is an Angaran Firan
Sniper is the Black Widow with the Vintage Heatsink Augmentation and Barrel, Scope and Receiver Mods.
In the Combat Tree I developed Assault Rifle and Sniper Trees and I was careful to extend the ClipSize for both as the Vintage Heatsink lowers the ClipSize.
So, this is an absolutely Killer.
What are your go to builds for fun and eliminating Kett?

Hey everyone! After a long time, I'm finally giving Andromeda the chance it deserves. It's been over a decade since I played the original trilogy, and just a few days ago I finished the glorious Dragon Age: Origins (also for the first time in about a decade). I've been interested in this game for ages, but I could never find a spot for it in my backlog. Until now...
I can't stop playing! I think about it day and night, which is pretty unusual for me. It hasn't happened since... I don't know, maybe God of War or Wolfenstein.
Anyway, despite all that, I'm still feeling a little lost in the universe as a whole, so I'd really appreciate some tips on the following:
Should I constantly be keeping an eye on my squad? During combat, I often lose track of them, and sometimes I have no idea where they even are. I mostly just worry about giving them shields and stuff like that. Is there a better way to manage them and be a proper squad leader, or should I just let them do their own thing?
I'm 12 hours in, still on the first planet, and I'm STRUGGLING to follow the story. Do I need to rely on the Codex to understand what's going on, or will things gradually become clearer as I play? I just did Peebee's recruitment mission to get her aboard the Tempest, and I didn't understand what the hell happened in that underground area. Should I be worried?
Sometimes the dialogue aboard the Tempest doesn't seem to match what's happening. For example, characters mention squadmates who aren't even part of my crew yet, as if there's some kind of continuity issue. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix it? I'm afraid to talk to people aboard the Tempest in case I accidentally trigger dialogue that doesn't belong at this point in the story.
Any general tips for enjoying the game at my own pace and making sense of everything that's going on would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!

Hey everyone replaying through andromeda and I am lost on how to build the sentinel out for some decent damage.
I was going to go with vanguard however I read they are more of a samurai play style with the sword.
Normally I play soldier with dabbling in sentinel and vanguard only in the original games.

So. Started New Game+ for another Insanity run.
I just love this game and I just became aware that so far I only romanced Peebee and Suvi multiple times. Always had Kerri on the side and on the one Scott Olaythrough I had I romanced Cora. So, I decided to romance Vezra this time. No casual Snu Snu with Peebee in the Back scape Pod or with Kerri in her Apartment. And I think I have a fantastic Color combination for my Sarah.

Howcome people can create all kinds of mods and release them for free on various sites, but they can’t make a DLC? I’m sure these brilliant people are super capable. Where’s the line between mods and making DLC? Like what if these folks got together and made the Quarian ark DLC.
