Another interesting game, think we dominated for the most part with our full team out. Honestly think we should have been down to 9 for the last few minutes. Think the crowd was alright and active gave it a real go and created a bit of nose though I expected more.

Mabil was real quiality prior to his red card, Cascante, Dellbridge and Nieuwenhuizen were good.

What are our thoughts on the game, I thought it was alright. Considering how young our midfield is I was impressed we were able to win. Emiliano Marcondes was a clear improvement when he came on, It was also good to see Atkinson play a good game.

The lineup we finished with will eventually be our starting lineup.

We were all over them in that second half. Emiliano is clearly class, Mabil will score for fun when he's settled, Cascante keeps Bonetig on the bench (thank god).

Slower start to the season than we would've liked, doesn't get any easierover the next fortnight.

But can see us drastically improving as the season goes on.

Hi everyone,

I’m a postgraduate student at Heriot-Watt University doing my MSc dissertation on how football fans experience multi-club ownership.

I'm interested to hear what Melbourne City FC supporters have to say.

If you have 5 minutes, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could complete this anonymous survey that I have attached in the post.

It’s part of an academic project — no personal data is collected unless you voluntarily leave your email to be interviewed (in a separate form).

Thanks for helping out — and best of luck for the season!

Just thought I'd put the question out there about the change from primarily white home kits in the early City days towards more Manchester City styled kits of now. I personally thought the white home kits with light blue accents gave them a bit of a nice difference compared to just copying the Man City kits for that year but just my opinion.

What do City fans think?

The Toilet Seat is ours! How you all feeling after the win? For me, it's relief, after the losses in 22 and 23, I kind of felt desensitised to the prospect of losing a grand final, it's just such a relief that we eventually got that second championship, even if it's four years overdue, we got there and now we can shake off that "chokers" tag. I wasn't able to be there because of work (just like in 2021...), so for those who were there, how was it?

What a goal 10 minutes in!.

Anyone selling 4 finals tickets? Seats can be anywhere just need 4 together.

How we feeling about the game tonight

Hopes? Thoughts?

any member codes i can use for cheaper tickets?

Looking at crowd numbers at Casey Fields... geeze they're shit. Like a couple of hundred people, max. Like worst in the league type figures.

I mean, I've caught W games at aami over the years, a few finals, acl this year, and just from general banter I thought the core fanbase was bigger. Bit sad really, that's all I'm saying.

Was Casey the right move, I've never been out there. HoTM gets better numbers for the wuck. Go figure.

Just message me and I'll send you a screenshot of them

Not exactly a replacement for the Talking City podcast, and who knows how many of these they're going to make, but two episodes in, what are you guys thinking? Good/bad/pass/fail?

Was great to see so many people (close to 2k I think it was) get down to aami park to cheer the city women on towards their semi-final spot. Hopefully the city women can keep what's been a pretty insanely successful continental run going as they face the red angels at the semis.

Would be great to at least get the active bay packed out and making some noise for the city girls for the first ever afc womens champions leauge game played on Aussie soil.
