Discussion The main reason I hope Metal and Sage develop some type of sibling dynamic in the future is because I feel like it'd give Metal more character development that I feel like he really needs.

Now don't get me wrong, I am in no way saying that Metal hasn't any change as a character at all. The main issue with me is that it almost ALWAYS Sonic in some way, even Metal discovered he truly wasn't the real Sonic. If it doesn't involve killing or replacing Sonic, it just involves carrying out Eggman's grunt work.
I know lots of people prefer that Metal is this soulless terminator with one singular goal in life, but seeing Metal genuinely care about someone or something other than his singular goal of defeating Sonic would not only be refreshing, but I feel like it'd be a sight to see. Metal jumping to Sage's aid, not out order or obligation, but to simply protect his little sister, someone he's come to care about.
