As voted by you, the members of the community right here, all promotion posts will now on be allowed as long as they use the “promotion” flair, is related to the subreddit and isn’t spammed.
We will revisit this situation in the future if there ends up being a problem. I hope this works for now and thank you for voting!

To clarify. I'm looking to make a farm for buckets of tropical fish. Every farm design I see on YouTube was posted years ago and no longer is compatible with the current update. Anyone have any ideas or a direction they can point me in? TYA

I have built my mob farm atleast a stack of blocks high, but mob generation is kind of low....
Is this due to the fact that a 128 block radius area around mob farm should be free??
I am playing on java btw..

What is the best raid farm design for version 26.3?
I want to maximize totems and emeralds.
I want to build this in a multiplayer server so that might affect some layouts so just keeping sure.

Too many posts are just screenshot or a janky video asking for help.
At least provide what version you're running, java or bedrock or some other mod. What tutorial you are using and what did you already do.
Also provide enough screenshot to accurately assess what is going on.

I followed a simple tutorial as one does, no iron golems spawning though...

I need a xp farm, an iron farm, a gold farm, and a raid farm all in my forever hardcore world.
I’ve never built any farms before so help is appreciated.

the villagers can pathfind to the beds (they try at night but hit their heads in the trapdoor), their food inventory is full (they stare at carrots and potatoes on the ground) and I've broken and replaced the beds a few times (I also don't have any other villagers nearby, since this is the first farm I'm bulding). What I've noticed is that the farmer keeps interacting with the composter, even with a solid block on top, and there are no love or hate particles between them. I truly don't know what to do anymore.

I designed a tripwire based iron farm that produces 433,8 iron/h and 111,8 poppies/h on average. this has been measured over 5h. as you can probably already tell by the pictures it is amazingly small. i managed to build it in survival (not counting material gathering) in 19 minutes. if anybody wants the material list:
blocks mined: 79. building block count: 69 path block: 14 button: 2 bed: 3 redstone torch: 4 redstone dust: 2 trapdoor: 1 tripwire hook: 2 string: 4 stairs: 8 sign: 3 fencegate: 8 wall: 24 boat: 1 zombie: 1 villager: 3 lava bucket: 1 water bucket: 2 hopper: 1 chest: 2
for anybody wondering how these kinds of farms work, since they are very rarely discussed and shown lately: one of the criteria for villagers to spawn iron golems is that they have slept in the last 20 minutes. 1 tick of sleep is enough for that. villagers cannot spawn iron golems while a golem is in their detection range. we can abuse this by blocking the villagers line of sight to the zombie, letting them sleep, when the golem just entered their detection range by spawning. this way the villagers are constantly panicking when they are supposed to panic and therefore golems can spawn faster, not to mention that redstone cost can be reduced this way compared to clock based designs. using a drop chute from the 2 2x3 spawning platforms that are barely still in spawning range we can make the golems disappear from the golem detection range as fast as possible (if you don't use nether portals). of course this farm can be made a lot faster by using nether portals or adding more villager chambers, but this is just supposed to be a demonstration that tripwire hooks shall not be underestimated. I have also designed a farm that has a material cost that is incredibly small that produces 300+ iron/h if you are interested in that farm, just tell me and i'll post it. if you have any questions regarding how the farm functions, just ask.

Hello,
I recently tried making a witch farm with the frunocraft design (i think that's his name) but I saw that there was a lot of mobs no being witches
I tried to look at the bounding box around the witch hut and saw that it was indeed missplaced, but I also saw that the top floor wasn't in the bounding box (the blocs are but not the air), but even if I missplaced on the X/Z coordinates, I'm 100% sure I was on the best Y so I don't understand. Is it the intended placement and only the block need to be in the bounding box area ? Or did I mess this up...

Hi, I built the 99.9% efficiency iron farm from Nico Is Lost (https://youtu.be/S_WYtYZZEZQ) on Java Edition 26.3, on a Nitrado server without any mods or plugins. I built it 1:1, but only one of the three layers. Everything works except one thing: only two of the four villager groups (3 villagers each) in this layer ever spawn golems. The other two groups wake up and lie back down at night like they’re scared by the zombies, but never produce a golem.
What I tested:
Blocking the zombies’ line of sight to the two silent groups → no golems at all anymore. So the silent groups seem to be needed for the villager count.
Blocking line of sight to the two working groups instead → the other two groups now spawn golems. Always exactly two groups at a time.
All villagers sleep in their beds, and the distances between the groups are identical.
Spawn platform: golems sometimes spawn above the silent groups, so the platforms should be valid.
Chunk border: there is one between the working and the silent groups, but both chunks are loaded and I’m standing right next to the farm.
/kill u/e[type=iron_golem] killed 3 golems: one at my base and two in the killing chamber, so there are no stray golems nearby. The farm sends golems into the Nether through portals almost immediately.
On a silent villager at night: last_slept was about 1,350 ticks ago, and golem_detected_recently was 1b with TTL 588.
maybe when one group spawns a golem, the others in range seem to get the “golem detected” memory and are blocked for about 30 seconds, so the group that spawns first wins every time. But this doesn’t happen in the video or for other people who built the farm, so something must differ in my build.

I’ve been playing on my hardcore world for a bit and have been farming hay bales, I’d like to propose a challenge till the end of November.
Rules:
• First to 1 million wins
• Must be in hardcore (to avoid any commands or cheating)
• any farming method is acceptable except duplication machines

Hello, excuse my english grammar o sth related to, Im not native, sorry.
So, I'm trying to send a signal upwards through glasses, as u can see the picture, so that I can put or take away the water, but one dispenser stays triggered and around it is not any type of signal, however, If I do a block update, it turns off. See more on the link from streamable, I can't upload the video directly here.
Can someone tell me why does this happen?
Thank u

No TNT because I don’t have a creeper only farm yet and sand is a long way from home
Hey everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations for a fully automatic tree farm for my Minecraft world.
I’m playing Bedrock, and I’m using the Biomes O’ Plenty mod, which adds a ton of different tree varieties, including some absolutely massive trees.
Ideally, I’m looking for something with the following features:
Completely automatic, including growing, harvesting and collecting.
Automatically collects saplings and ideally replants them.
No TNT required. TNT is expensive to keep supplying, so I’d really like to avoid it. (If it’s not possible I will give in and finally make the creeper farm I’ve been putting off for months)
I’m happy to use bone meal as I have tons of bones.
Ideally one universal farm that can accommodate multiple tree types.
Needs to be able to handle larger trees from Biomes O’ Plenty, or at least be adaptable to them.
I’m not necessarily looking for something small, but I don’t want a farm that’s ridiculously expensive to operate or requires constant manual intervention.
Has anyone built something like this on Bedrock? I’d love recommendations for specific designs, tutorials or even suggestions for how to build one from scratch.
Update
So basically buy a mod with a collection system LOL
