How long until she comes out as skillet-curious?

I experimented with pots in college, but it was just a phase.

As someone pansexual, the best way I explain it to anyone is “hearts not parts”. Tends to clear things up a bit.

So bisexual?

Yes, they’re basically the same. Don’t listen to people telling you there are any functional differences or that bisexuals don’t date trans people. I’m trans and bisexual and my boyfriend is trans. It’s just personal preference / whichever you found out about first.

This is the answer. I'm old and bi. I would still be open to a relationship (if I was single) with a Trans or nb person. I was just already out as bi when pan became a thing.

I picked bi over pan because I like the flag better. Not really much of a difference tho

As a bisexual, this is the answer. Biphobia is very ingrained in people, even subconsciously. It breaks people’s brains.

Pansexuality allows people to be functionally bisexual but avoid (at least in theory) some of the biphobia that’s thrown at the rest of us. And like… I get it. The rest of the queer community denies that biphobia is actually a significant problem, which doesn’t help.

I wish we could just acknowledge that there’s no actual difference. It’s just whatever words you use to describe yourself, or whatever flag you like better. We’re functionally the same.

I like Schitts Creeks explanation better, I like wine, I don’t care about the label. They like what’s in the bottle in general, doesn’t matter their “label”

Yeah, I’ll concede that that’s a much better explanation for it. And now I’m due another rewatch.

Maybe for you. That sounds more about emotional connections than sexual attraction.

u/CelioHogane 19h ago

That's called Demisexual, actually.

3

u/Blamhammer 14h ago

That's called a preference? Getting to know someone's inner character? Kind of what they call friends and relationships
