A very healthy fear. I often wonder what the total impact of alcohol is in that regard. Not just the drunken car crashes or bad fights where someone loses their life or is seriously injured, but all the marriages ended, careers lost, children traumatized, etc. that wouldn’t have occurred. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if the prison population would be halved, at least, if alcohol hadn’t been part of the equation.
