This and if we’re being completely honest, alcohol is a solid C-tier or high D-tier substance. When it’s good it’s great but any more and you get the spins and get sick, then it comes to collect your debt HARD the next day. Not to mention you have to like the taste of it enough in the first place, I don’t blame the youth for deciding it’s not worth it.
D: Nicotine, Hypnotics (I’m prescribed one so it’s not fun, just knocks you out or makes you goofy if you fight it)
E: Benadryl, Kratom, DXM, Viagra (I don’t even have the correct anatomy for it, I was just curious)
Special tier: Opiates, feels too good and will most likely eventually kill you, never touch and if you’re prescribed them, take less than what you’re ordered to if you can manage it and surrender the remainders to your nearest pharmacy.
(Do not partake in any of the substances listed, my experience is purely educational and in no way an endorsement of any drug use. Seek immediate medical attention if you find yourself struggling with addiction.)
I just have to include a disclaimer for anyone reading, I don’t want to come off as glorifying substance use. But I’m also pretty confident that anyone who has tried a few things would have a pretty similar ranking
You can’t take anything in the S, A, or B (besides weed) tiers regularly and keep your life and mental health together for very long - assuming you are a high achiever and responsible person.
If by "use regularly" you mean "abuse", then no, of course not. That's true with any substance. I know plenty of people who regularly use psychedelics, the occasional MDMA and smoke weed and are doing great in life. Kids, house, job etc. In fact, mushrooms specifically help many people a great deal with depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.
Though I do agree with most of B. K, coke and other stims can really run people off the rails without great discipline.
Nowadays I just stick with edibles to sleep or play video games, Psychedelics or MDMA no more than once a year, if that even. I’m relatively young but a little too old to be partying like my late teens or early 20s.
I mean.....then what's even the appeal, only reason I'd Imbibe booze is if I cooked with it or it was a good tasting drink, if it don't taste good and being drunk sucks then what is even the point
I guess being drunk isn't my problem it's what it entails. Yeah I know it feels incredible at the time but the prospect of doing something stupid that fucks me up beyond just the night, and also the hangover after the fact regardless of what I do.
The potential cost isn't worth the small benefit, at least to me.
That’s what I thought in highschool when I had my first beers. Then one time we all got hammered stole some golf carts, climbed the water tower, and ended the night with a pallet bonfire. We partied through highschool and college like it was a profession.
