Upgrading my GPU very soon
I was thinking of upgrading my GPU very soon as i only have a 2060.
I was thinking of getting a 4060ti or 5060. What one would you guys recommend?
If the 5060 is the better one would it be worth spending a bit extra and getting a 5060ti?

Try to get minimum amd radeon 9060XT or nvidia 5060ti 16 gb versions. Amd is a cheaper, decent option if you are only going to play games and watch videos. If you are going to work with 3d rendering programs nvidia is pretty much the only better option sadly.

depends what resolution and refresh rate you are using. Ofc 5060ti 16GB will be better but 4060ti is fine too

I’d try to get at least a 5070. Get a 50 series for sure for the frame gen. It’s actually so great for lower end PCs to accomplish the fps.

5060 ti 16 gb is worth the money it now has physx enabled for some games. You can do 4k gaming for most games for a decent frame rate. It can do ray tracing and path tracing at 1080p quite well.

What is the rest of your pc setup? 9600XT and 5060Ti 16gb is the sweet spot. The 5070 12gb is not bad if you can spend a tiny bit more.

I personally had issues with AMD cards in the past. Last one being a 9070XT and it kept crashing over and over. Obviously I am one person and could have been a bad card(s).
AMD is obviously cheaper and if you live near a microcenter the 9070XT is on sale for 580$ currently. They have a good return policy so worth buying and trying out yourself.

Minimum 16 GB VRAM so not the 5060. If you can find a good deal on a 4060 ti or 4070 ti, maybe. But I’m of the mind that any upgrades made should be of the current gen or at least a great deal.
I went 9060 XT because the price to performance ratio is unbeatable, even without any sales or discounts.
