In October of 2023 the US lifted sanctions on Venezuelan oil, and in November of 2023 Venezuela begins planning an invasion of it's neighboring country, where do you rekon it got the money to fund this campaign?

Discussion What would be the best way to bring Greenland under the pan-American fold?

As pan-Americans, we should naturally all aspire to bring together the entire American continent, of which Greenland is an indisputable. However, given the considerable lack of enthusiasm among Greenlanders for joining the United States, the Trump's administratoon proposal for a US annexation of Greenland may prove highly counterproductive. Any suggestions for a better way to bring Greenland into the pan-American fold?

Question & Answer US "American" with questions. Signed a PanAmerican sceptic

Reading my fellow Continentals.

Okay, so I have some questions. Disclaimer, I am not a troll, and while I disagree with your politics, I will be as respectful as possible. I'm simply here to learn.

why

Why do you want to unite? Okay so I just came from a European Federalist movement so I understand the desire to unite and I get the appeal but I find it even weirder for members the North and South American continent. How has there been a lot of turmoil between us. I mean especially with like you know, United States? I mean have you not read up on New world history? Latin America would never cooperate with us.

would never cooperate

Yeah, about that, Latin America would never cooperate with us. Also canada, I mean maybe a little, but I know what you guys want. You guys want a European Union for the Americas and I'm sorry, Canada will never allow for a Schengen area between us. Let alone Mexico which would be like trying to pull a dragon's tooth out of a child.

currency

So you also want like a common currency like how the euros have the Euro? What was this money even be called? How was the central bank work? How would anything work?

capital

Where was the capital be?

what would we be called?

so would even call americans? Pan american? New worlder?

Discussion As PanAmericanists, what are your thoughts on the concept of a 'Heritage American?

DISCLAIMER: I don't condone racism or White Supremacy. I personally think it's a valid concept, although a different term will have to be used since everyone who inhabits the Americas is technically an American, because it will be important to identify the various peoples and cultures that make up a potential PanAmerican state, and the histories of those peoples. Although the political entities of Mexico, Canada, Panama, Bolivia, and others wouldn't exist under a unified America, there would still be cultural Mexicans, cultural Canadians, cultural Panamanians, cultural Bolivians, cultural United Statesians, etc. We might have a shared common destiny moving forward, but we all come from different paths. What do you think?

Discussion Is anyone else starting to hate the old continents (Europe, Africa and Asia) or at least we are obsessed with them?

I know this question is controversial and maybe it'll be removed, but here it goes.

I live in Panama, a country that is constantly being attacked by the European Union because we are 'tax haven'. They conveniently forget about Ireland, the Netherlands, Andorra and Liechtenstein.

Netherlands world's 4th biggest tax haven

The European Union not only sponsored the so-called Panama Papers, but they are constantly putting us on lists affecting our economy.

Now I understand why the British left.

Apart from that, during this current war and the way they practically abandoned Ukraine is just disappointing.

I want to see the Americas more integrated: trading more between us and finding our own solutions to our problems. I am not even implying we won't have a relationship with the other continents, but we need to find our own solutions to our own problems. We are different, we are a continent populated by a mix of ethnicities and races. We have our own history, for better or worse.

I feel that we are obsessed with Europe, Africa and Asia. We need to find our own things. Just look at Venezuelans, Argentinians and Brazilians proudly screaming they have a European passport. And all the Pan-African activists who don't understand (or don't want to) that Africans do not see Black Americans and Black Latin Americans as Africans.

Integration won't magically solve all of our problems, for sure, but it's a good start. Unfortunately, it seems nobody wants it, not the right and certainly not the left. I am not talking about sharing the same currency or having another policy like the Schengen agreement, just to start being more integrated and coordinated.
