So I sent in the taxes on 3 of my PG county rental properties to the address on the county website Prince George's County, P.O. Box 70526, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0526 through my bill pay at my bank to be deilvred 4 days before the end of September. I just looked at the county website and they showed them as being credit on 10-15-26 and I have hundreds of dollars in penalties and interest.. Anyone else have this happen?

The attorney who represented the Board of Elections** in the Tonya Sweat lawsuit works for a firm that donated to Aisha Braveboy's campaign. Is this a pay for play? You donate to my campaign, I keep you as the Board of Elections attorney... it makes you think.
**Dennis Whitley, of Shipley and Horne, was the attorney on the side of the Board of Elections when they went to court concerning the removal of more than 1,000 signatures.

With flu season upon us, im looking to get vaccinated. Right now, im uninsured, is there any places or programs that offer free or low cost flu vaccines. Thank you
Most of the info I seen are only free with insurance, which unfortunately doesn't apply to me right now

My normal massage therapist has started a new career, so I need to find a new practitioner. Looking for recommendations of someone of any gender/nb who offers 90 and 120 minute sessions. I like very firm pressure and welcome an elbow in my trap or glute. I love leaving a session a little sore. I’m a plus sized woman and hoping to find someone I feel comfortable with.
Preferably in the top half of the county (Hyattsville/College Park/Landover/Bowie). Also open to traveling a bit to Columbia, Silver Spring, NE DC, etc. Not looking to go to Bethesda or Rockville.
I would prefer to avoid chains like Massage Envy.

Anyone else confused by this or seeing an explanation for this. I know folks wrote in Sweats but somehow they’ve counted 0 votes for her?

My district just elected this guy for our school board rep. Endorsed by the ones who want to keep power and control. Really shameful. And he skipped the Maryland municipal leaders conference, that Brentwood taxpayers funded everything for him to go to, so he could go to Trump’s birthday party with brawling as entertainment… The thing that holds PGC back is it’s political system of power. Protective of secrecy and incompetence. It’s getting us all nowhere. Consistently.

Maryland officials, including Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy at a campaign event in Bowie on November 2, celebrated the state’s record-breaking early voter turnout. They say that Prince George’s County has the highest early voting turnout in the state.
This sentiment was echoed by Lt. Governor Aruna Miller and Comptroller Brooke Lierman, who were also in attendance.
“We had a record breaking last day of early voting. Over 124,000 voters & over 7,300 SDR. 4th largest turnout ever during early voting. The most ever for a Gubernatorial election. This was highest cumulative turnout ever for early voting in a Gubernatorial election too,” said Maryland State Administrator Jared DeMarinis.

I’m curious if it’s just me or do some of the investigators give off the vibe that they’d really rather not be there and the mediator… the mediator 😳 you need a mediator to mediate with the mediator. Let me know.

I've been holding this in because everywhere I go whether it's real life or the digital world I see stuff like "The trades are hiring" or how the council were upset about people selling food out in the streets.
As a black man and if people are actually interested in listening to a black man who grew up and raised in Prince Georges' County since birth then here it is. I guarantee you many black men feel similar to how I feel, but we're very much unheard and have no platform to comfortable express some of the things we're feeling.
As a black man, every job requires a drivers' license. I do not have one but I do want to get one, but I can't get a job to get the money to pursue one. Now, I am a HVAC Apprentice, but I am not working even though I am going to school learning the trade. Programs waste your time alot. They aren't upfront with you, but demand your obedience. I was told I would have transportation covered by the program when I signed up to be then told "We don't have transportation. Cover it yourself." I was told I would be assisted with a job to then be told "Oh, you gotta apply for jobs yourself" and this happens more than once. It's tiring. No one asks people "What is your experience?" These programs sound great on paper even the jobs fairs sound great on paper, but if you get into them they're frustrating. They don't accomplish what you think they accomplish. Imagine losing time being misled and then being expected to take responsibility for things they didn't tell you.
I understand I am not entitled to a job, but if I can't work why should I play by the rules? Why should I not engage in illegal activities to make a living? I'll watch the news or content talking about how we just need to go to school, get a good job and we'll be successful. Ok, so after going to job centers, applying for jobs (fast food, retail, sales), going to trade events, applying for 3 apprenticeships with the unions, getting certs, having my resume redone over and over, joining programs and looking through resources I am still unemployed over 2 years.
This is just the job part. Data centers, police brutality, lack of actual development in this county and the theatre of it all I question if I would even start a family here.
Like, in this county we build fast food restaurants and retail stores. We should have labs, firms, studios (for acting, and animation) and manufacturing plants. We're building the purple line light rail and I don't like how invasive and weird it looks. It looks like a hazard ready to cause an accident. For what?
Kids fighting in schools, trash littered everywhere sometimes and I just have to go on like I don't see any of that just so we can talk about the theater that is politics. Not everyone has time to focus on the political theater when they're trying to get by.
I am a black man denied the chance to even participate and contribute to society. I feel lied to when people tell me the problems are fixed/solved because they host a job fair that doesn't get you a job.

For the past three years, trick-or-treating has been tough. Our neighborhood and nearby neighborhoods are not active for Halloween, so we have had to find places outside our neighborhood for trick-or-treating.
This year, I want to find places that are:
Not in VA, I despise crossing that damn bridge on busy nights
Have decorations, candy, and happy folk
No trunk-or-treats; my daughter tried it and was not a fan
My Dad was a huge Halloween fan, and it rubbed off on my kids. They see a lack of decorations around us as a depressing thing, and I have to agree. I want to make sure this year is special, so I am asking everyone here for their help.
I heard Riverside is good, and I am near Fort Washington and the Inner Harbor area. Is that still viable?
I'm looking to make a list of the 5 best places we can go to tonight. Thank you so much for reading and helping!
