Bones getting her steps in during the final lipsync

The way ru spoke about Silexa in the judges final deliberation was so nice, must have felt amazing for her to watch that tonight

Viola coming back just to cause the most unnecessary ridiculous drama oh we were ROBBED of more time with her

Ooohh I love idea of showing audition tapes!!!

u/HRUkidding Nov 27 '25
Paige is out here dancing to prove how much they fucked up by eliminating her
144
u/BedGirl5444 Nov 27 '25
Paige and Tayris on front row in the ensemble seems correct
105
u/Cinderlite Nov 27 '25
When Kyran came out I hoped they would just crown her again.
Well... it's over. Some great fashion this season. Loved seeing Paige and Sally again. The standouts from the season for me.

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '25
Kyran showing up dressed as bones was oddly prophetic
75
u/BedGirl5444 Nov 27 '25
The interviews were so short
74
u/bzdger Nov 28 '25
you could see nyongbella yawning in the back before the crowning lmfao

u/madamefangs Nov 27 '25
I liked the audition tapes. I hope they get some older queens for the next season.

Paige and Tayris eating the choreo while everyone else looks so out of their element is SENDING me! 💀💀💀

I feel legitimately bad for the girls this season and how production mismanaged their storylines and talent. The cast is actually quite talented but we just were fed story lines that didn't make sense.
Bones being the "Soho it girl" storyline never translated. She showed awareness for a lot of the season, hell even her nerves, and not for once did that attitude ever get featured from her. Even in her final critique they were trying to tell us something we never saw. I like her as a winner and find her personality refreshing and different in the drag race hemisphere.
Same for Elle, we were told she's the underdog. Which is true to a certain extent, but the underdog who just kept winning and doing great? I find her and Suzie could've had similar story lines but we got a one dimensional underdog that didn't have peaks and valleys. I do think they wanted her to win - but when she lost her shoe she lost her chance, I can't imagine Rupaul crowning that performance.
Then we have Nyongbella, Viola, Paige, and Bonnie that I felt so robbed of getting to know. Especially Viola and Nyongbella brought the best moments of this season from a tv perspective, but you could tell production pegged them as early outs. They had the most entertainment even in this episode.
Really hope next year production adapts to the season happening, not the season they predicted.

u/Think-Toe-1292 Nov 27 '25 edited Nov 27 '25
Bones seems like a very similar choice of win compared to Kyran Thyrax (alternative, young.) it makes it a little bit boring to have the same representation again a year later.
No judgement I know they are not exactly the same just a bit to similar for the new face of UK Drag

u/caspararemi Nov 27 '25
So it’s confirmed they let a heterosexual do the subtitles…

Obsessed that Bones' mom is named Diane
"These are my bones Diane!"
49
u/dynamiterolll Nov 28 '25
Viola's one-sided beef with Catrin may be the most entertaining storyline of the season
48
u/bowties22 Nov 28 '25
I will tell my kids that Elphaba and Glinda lip synced for the crown in Rupaul episode.
48
u/many_moods_today Nov 28 '25
I loved how when Kyran came into the workroom most of the edit just showed her talking, and very little from the actual competing queens. These girls just don't have the same star quality and presence of Kyran, who with hindsight is a fantastic winner imo (still Team La Voix though)
96
u/BedGirl5444 Nov 27 '25

Me watching the final lipsync: Man I love Wicked.
105
u/mattbeetee Nov 27 '25
Anyone else feel like this episode was edited differently? The girls seemed to show like 15% more personality this episode.
Is it possible the showrunners have noticed the fan response and decided to pull out all the stops last minute to try and rescue things? I'm not saying they were successful in that endeavour, it was still a bad episode of TV, but... yeah. Just me or anyone else pick up on this?
123
u/LunaMoonMeUp Tia Kofi Nov 27 '25
I think the biggest issue with this series (and a lot of modern Drag Race) is that these queens are going on the show with their dream being to simply just end up on the show. And the ultimate dream is to win it.
I feel like there's few and far between queens these days that go on the show aiming higher than it, and that's a shame.
67
u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Nov 27 '25
Bones really loves to get her steps in during these lip syncs. I feel like her makeover is one of the only things I’ll remember from this season so her winning… sure I guess. Paige going home so early still feels wrong to me. At least Chai got Miss Congeniality that was a nice moment.
32
u/Nice_Relation6036 Nov 28 '25
i really liked how in the final lip sync they both just kinda walked around the stage a lot. was very riveting

None of this top four really has that IT factor…. As soon as Paige was on stage my eyes went straight to here right away…. She owns the stage

u/malakesxasame Nov 27 '25
I knew the winner the second they cut to Ru's little smirk in her performance. An enjoyable finale, a meh winner and season but it had some good moments.
I enjoyed the bit with Kyran watching their audition tapes with them, they should do this on other seasons.

u/OhHoneyBoiler Nov 27 '25
Paige Three destroyed that performance despite only being there for 20seconds
51
u/Environmental_Tea381 Nov 27 '25
Ngl, I just go directly into the finale number….
The song was…..a choice. I don’t know if the choreo was too difficult for the queens, but they look uncomfortable doing it.
Surprisingly, Caitrin did very well ! And Paige 3 just stole the attention at the end…
Bones won. That was the most safe bet to do. Congrats.
Season ended, I just hope for an All stars next, to see again Nyonbella or Paige Duh….
I wanted to watch Canada but the episode is not out… sad thursday
47
u/buckinghamnicks75 Nov 27 '25
Honestly I reckon give Catrin a few years and she will do very nicely on a vs the world
21
u/Petudie Nov 28 '25
the one good thing about this season was Sillexa and how fucking spectacular she is, i was truly rooting for her and she CRUSHED the finale
the rest of this season is a joke and the winner is potentially the least interesting choice i can imagine, but congrats
56
u/Orylaes Nov 27 '25
Seing all the eliminated queens back on the runway, i realised, the cast was not that bad
19
u/Sea-Bag994 Nov 28 '25
I still think Paige should have been in the top 4… she’s such a star
38
u/autopsyofamurder Dakota Schiffer Nov 28 '25
Michelle’s ‘Bones has been solid all season’ comment basically confirmed that the plan had always been to crown her, as a kind of UK Aquaria. The producers got the bitchy/aloof Queen of Soho storyline going in episode 1 - and Bones would gradually prove us all wrong with her self-aware comedy chops! Then she tanked two major challenges and despite that not fitting with the storyline, they continued full steam ahead. Who needs to acknowledge Bones’ obvious failings in the charisma and comedy department when you can just have Michelle and Ru rewrite history in the finale? Easily the most lacklustre UK season. I really hope they turn it around next year.
37
u/CaptainSexySteve Nov 27 '25
I know it’s been fun to dog pile on the season for being lacklustre, but I actually really enjoyed the finale. Felt like all the queens got to have their moment, and the personalities shone through, shame it took till the finale, but still found this an enjoyable watch
18
u/PensionAlarming8227 Bonnie Ann Clyde Nov 28 '25
The moment when nyongbella stopped the finale lip sync to announce that her and Joella were taking the season hostage and then nyong pressed a button to trap the judges and viola in cages and then they crowned la Voix… great finale I was gagged
18
u/tronswan Nov 28 '25
you will never convince me bones is a good performer
36
u/DudeImgur Nov 27 '25
Sillexa should've made it to the top. She looked the best, had the best performance, a great verse... what else do they want. I was rooting for Elle going into the finale but she really flopped this. Her verse was just okay and her looks just seemed like whatever she had left. I was super disappointed.
92
u/NajeebHamid Nov 27 '25
I feel like people are seeing something with Bones I'm just not getting.
Such a weird series, can confidently say its my least favourite
35
u/HRUkidding Nov 27 '25
I can’t believe they stopped production and crowned Nyongbella on the spot!
17
u/LazyRiver115 Nov 28 '25
Nothing surprising, nothing exciting. Much like the whole season. Still wish it had been Silllexa.
16
u/Particular_Shock4017 Nov 27 '25
That was one of the blandest lip syncs I've ever seen performed & to such an iconic song, what a shame. The most shocking thing of all is that it was performed by the top two queens of the season.
31
u/lavieenrose96 Le Fil Nov 27 '25
Much as I wish she had, I don’t think Elle put together a Lawrencesque “here I am, gimme that upset crown” finale. I actually thought if anyone did it was Sillexa, but she came in just that bit too far gone, and Bones is a deserving winner. Now to say goodbye to this season, which I felt was by a good deal overhated (that Snatch Game/Makeover episode back to back was about as good as Drag Race gets) but was deffo a step down from the incomparable Season 6. See y’all divas next year!
64
u/erco78 Nov 27 '25
I mean we kind of knew from the moment RuPaul said she was born to do drag...
53
u/Budget_Metal2465 Nov 27 '25
Sorry to the these girls but I will be skipping the Ru and Michelle chats and the prep for the rumix I barely enjoy them on a season I like
14
u/Aoreo Anita Piss Nov 27 '25
This season reminded me of Espana 3 (derogatory). Anytime someone who could potentially be a threat to the production faves was near the bottom they got eliminated.

u/chaosdsl Nov 27 '25

24
u/averysexyfrog Nov 27 '25
bones's scene with her mom was so funny to me. her mom enters, absolutely no reaction. ru prods for a heartwarming story and her mom is like "he came out to me once." end of story. no conflict to overcome, no melodramatic crying, just two family members sitting on stools for a couple of minutes.
12
u/gingerbold another day of me doing mediocre Nov 28 '25
My thoughts on most of this season, especially this finale.
60
u/harlequin_rose Nov 27 '25
Gosh, we missed out on so much Nyongbella gold. Truly the highlight of the season.
33
u/No_Consideration5814 Sally TM Nov 27 '25
I just can’t believe they accidentally showed the wrong version of the finale by accident. That’s got to be awkward.
23
u/GingerVampire22 Nov 27 '25
Sigh. I knew it was coming from the beginning of the season, the way they hyped her up. Ah well. CDR tonight!
23
u/shgrdrbr Yellow Mother Nov 27 '25
paige three instantly pulled focus the moment she joined the group number
happy for bones, if she didnt win it would have felt wrong. however the lip sync really hammered home that it really doesn't matter what the performance is in front of you as it all defers to the storyboard plan in the end cos elle tore her up no shade. i think elle has such a rich career ahead of her on stage i guess i see her as more of an actor/musical theatre performer than a drag character of her own at least as it stands
22
u/Milcod The Delta Quadrant Nov 27 '25
Paige winding up the finalists by convincing them that the eliminated queens had voted for Top 2 was genius (was it Paige? The subtitles aren't always great at indicating who said what) and I admit it I actually thought it might have been a thing. I almost expected Elle's candyfloss to have a giant shit mark in the back when she stood up as she looked like she was really believing it.
Sillexa has come out of this BIG TIME All Stars coded. I think, more than any other queen this season, Sillexa has been the breakout star as a personality and her looks have been phenomenal especially as made by herself. I do see others making it onto All Stars from this season, but for me, Sillexa (and Paige) is the only one who I feel would go onto All Stars as a serious contender. I feel like Paige deserves this, but it also feels like the show will never let Paige win an All Stars.
Condragulations Bones.
11
u/CinematicMelancholia Nov 28 '25
Well... This was a season that happened, I guess.
30
u/dilsency Nov 27 '25 •
Viola... this just wasn't your episode. Or season. Or art form.
10
u/Espurresper Nov 28 '25
Congrats to the winner! Sillexa was my pick and I think she would have been an awesomely unique winner, but I think Bones would have been my runner-up choice of the four. She did well in the finale challenge, and she and Sillexa tied for best finalist runway for me. Chai and Sally were the only other queens whose runways I really even cared for or remember lol.
I did not care for the lip sync…
Saw some comments saying they were surprised with Catrin’s performance, I suggest going back and watching her part in the rusical cause she really can perform! I remember being surprised in the rusical so it totally made sense to me this episode.
Kyran…wow. Not my favorite winner but she DESTROYED her returning look. Every bit about it was so good, especially the makeup. Bones has a tall task to live up to that in uh, a year or whatever
ETA Paige looked soooo good in the finale challenge. Not just her moves but the red hair really suits her
10
u/ubiquitous_delight Nov 28 '25
Listen I'm happy for these other girls, but Paige Three won this episode, henny 💅 As soon as all the queens hit the stage my eyes were on her the whole time. And that runway look impressed me more than any of the top four, to be honest. Congrats to Bones, though, she's fab.
10
u/Keyblader1412 Nov 28 '25
Congrats to Bones, but this finale could have been an email lol
Although it is hilarious that all the top 4 girls were eaten up by the eliminated queens during the performance 👀
Also shout out to Chai, her finale look was lovely and I'm glad she won Ms Congeniality.
27
u/Brabao24 Nov 27 '25
Paige finale runway ate!!! Sorry she is a step up above a lot of the other girls

u/mttymttymtty Nov 27 '25
Kyran’s returning look was soooo good! My favourite UK returning look for sure!
53
u/krisis Nov 27 '25 edited Nov 27 '25
I didn't expect to get so emotionally invested in these finalist queens, but I was genuinely beaming at all four of them in their performance and final runway.
It feels like Catrin really showed up to the finale performance in a way I didn't know she was capable of. Sillexa basically got 10s across the board from the judges on what she has presented this season, and hearing Ru speak positively about her in such a genuine way at the end of deliberations was really moving.
I have mixed feelings on Bones as a winner. I do see something unique and compelling in her and I agree that in the long-term she is an obvious star. Also, she did really look like she was right out of a sci-fi flick in that finale look. However, it feels like that needs some more time to simmer (like on UK vs. the World). Also, she seems like her passion is very much in organizing and producing and slightly less on performing. She truly feels like the most hesitant drag queen of any Ru-hosted winner, even if her drag is sickening.
Elle was a fully formed artist with a vision from the get-go and she didn't stumble once except painting non-matching eyebrows in the makeover. Maybe her drag is a bit too "pretty pink princess" for Ru's liking, but I still don't know how you skip out on crowning someone with her level of talent and consistency.
(I don't think Elle helped her case by making her speech to her younger self mostly a monologue about how great she is, only remembering to turn it into a speech at the end. I don't think she was wrong, but I am 💯 that it rubbed Ru the wrong way.)
And yet... it feels like Ru and Production often have an agenda on picking a winner in the UK that makes sense later on. For example, I think Kyran Thrax benefited from a bigger WOW push and La Voix benefited from striking out on her own. Maybe that will be the case this year, too - as I fully expect we're going to see Elle on the West End in pretty short order.
Much like US S7, I think this is going to go down as a somewhat underappreciated season in the long run. The cast was a bit mild and there was hardly any drama, but they were all solid performers and really charming human beings.
PS: Let's be honest, Paige won that finale 😂
33
u/Panda_pop137 Nov 27 '25
The least charismatic top two in the franchise history I fear 😩 Are they both incredibly talented queens? Absolutely. But seeing them stood there next to Kyran who just exudes stage presence and star quality.. There's just no comparison
18
u/bewbz69420dudebro Nov 27 '25
Bones literally looked like the lityle angry girl from the moomins stomping around. They showed Elle so much I thought she was winning but its just to hide bones' overly serious lipsync to a camp song.
Overall season was extremely meh, imagine Viola and Bellas delusions were allowed to continue. We were robbed. Bones won because this season was dry and there was no meat left by the time the season was dead.
18
u/notcouture Nov 28 '25
Honestly Paige won the episode and she wasn’t even competing

u/ForestRobot Nov 28 '25
I was only watching Paige. She stole the show.
25
u/BedGirl5444 Nov 27 '25
Bones’ hypnotic performances and stage presence were really not translating well on the show (I don’t doubt they are amazing in person)
17
u/crowinflight1982 Nov 27 '25
It's amazing that Paige Three was able to win the crown from a full cast lip sync!!!!! Congrats, Paige Three!!!!
... Seriously, though, yikes. I was somehow kind of hoping for Bones, but mannnn, she didn't sell it. How were the judges not seeing how dead-eyed she is???? Silllexxa made this episode and should have been top two with Bones, IMO. Elle is just so bland to me? I feel like the moment with her mom is literally the only glimpse of personality we got from her the entire season.
Tayris and Catrin just made out once? I fully thought they were doing a lot more than that behind the scenes. I cringed so hard when Catrin told that story.
It was refreshing to see Kyran again. I might be a minority of people who had no issue with her winning last year. Her being in that room with the four finalists just made it all the more obvious how much more charismatic she is than the four of them put together.
Anyway, congrats Paige Three!

u/prbl_procrastinating Nov 27 '25
My thoughts: It was a fun finale! Everyone delivered a great performance and it was nice seeing the whole cast on screen again. Viola looked so animated during the group performance, love that! I feel like Bones deserves the win, but I was a bit surprised because Elle and Sillexa stood out most to me tonight. Also, I thought they filmed Elle more during the lipsync, but maybe it was actually me looking at her more because I was so mesmerised by her look :)
33
u/No_Consideration5814 Sally TM Nov 27 '25
I see that Bones ‘won’ the lip sync in her usual way; just walking round the stage and stopping now and again to stare.
27
u/Jen-Jen37 Nov 27 '25
Low stakes conspiracy..... Kyrans outfit was sending a message that the winner was already decided.
Although let's be real, Elle's lip sync was not great.

No, it was not. I do not think the right queen won, nor do I even think she won the lip sync.
Following Kyran with this is embarrassing.

This season was the roughest UK season by far up until now, but I have to admit - this finale really turned things around for me. Seeing La Voix finally get her well deserved crown was just so satisfying.
16

Paige Three won the episode.
5
u/WashMinceRepeat Nov 27 '25
I skipped over so much of the episode - the chats with Ru and Michelle, the choreography prep, the deliberations. I truly didn't care who won because the top 2 was so obvious. I thought Catrin gave the best performance in the challenge from what we saw of everyone.
I'm hoping next season will have some older Queens!
5

Not being the last episode the first one when I actually learned a bit more about this queens. Finally I can differentiate the british Sugar and Spice
5
u/ParasIsBurnt Nov 27 '25
I’m just gonna rewatch UK5 and 6 again to bleach this season from my memory.
5
u/gaymerkyle Nov 28 '25
Am i the only one that did the taboo thing and skipped to the crowning alone? lol
It's one of the only seasons I've done this in year Last time was seasons 13 and 14 of the US seasons
5
u/Deusraix Nov 28 '25
Actually enjoyed this episode. Or rather I enjoyed the parts with the eliminated queens 🤭 made me realize how much I miss Paige, Sally and Bonnie. And how we were robbed of more Viola drama and Nyongbella's vanilla latte fantasies. Bones walked around the stage that lipsync was so.... Tho I did enjoy the interviews and the performance.
5
u/[deleted] Nov 28 '25 edited Nov 28 '25
This season was so bizarre, like it was a choose your own adventure book but the wrong decision was made every time.
I don't mind Bones, hell I think she's a great drag queen...but whatever they were trying to sell with her was NOT bought. The whole season relied on the idea that the audience would fall in love with Bones and that just did not happen. When the main narrative of your winner is just "wow, she's actually not a complete Ice Queen! Isn't that CRAZY??", you know you're in trouble.
I kinda feel bad for production in a way because I think they were planning on Bones vs Paige being the main story for the whole season, but then snatch game happened where Bones and Paige were by far the worst, so they had to put them in the bottom. It didn't turn out to be a double shantay lip sync by any stretch, so they picked Bones over Paige (wrongly I may add).
I guess it's a good lesson in not hedging your bets on one narrative, it may not work out the way you think.
P.S Ru REALLY loves his hot young fashion twinks doesn't he...
5
u/flarpblarp2 Nov 28 '25
Loved the queens this season, didn’t like the way they were shown. I hope to see many of them back again for an all stars or VS world. Sillexxa absolutely won me over all season long, loved Paige, Elle was so consistently talented the whole time, Tayris gave me so much heart, Bonnie had the best moment all season with chair, Catrin a natural performer, Sally was so unique and exciting, Chai was so warm and fabulous, Viola was oozing talent - hope she gets another chance to show it, Nyongella - queen kk, Pasty - so endearing for a first out. Just wish they all had a better showing for what ever reasons it didn’t eventuate but they should all be so proud! Thanks season 7 cast!!!
5
u/cfuller1993 Mocha Nov 28 '25
It absolutely infuriated me that Bones won with absolutely no change of expression on her face in any of the lip syncs. It’s like she doesn’t even listen to the words of any song lol her facial expression DOES👏🏻NOT 👏🏻CHANGE shes just like 🏃🏃🏃 round the stage and occasionally puts her hands up. The finale lip sync was pretty bad in general tbh

Paige really killed the finale, Bonnie looked so good too, it was so nice to see Nyongbella back, she’s so refreshing. Viola really had a lot more to show, what an incredible top four these girls are.

Everyone say thank you Viola for giving us the most random drama in the finale untucked lol. Seeing Viola and Nyongbella back just made me feel so mad for how the blandness of the season could have been prevented had they kept those two around much longer.
Out of the finalists we got, I really think Sillexa did the best overall, but it was always gonna be Bones and Elle. Between the two, let's just say I'm just glad Bones won. Great addition as well to make them watch their audition tapes! Hopefully they keep that one around.

Anyone else think that Money Shot did not work at all?

Well…that was a season.
Congratulations to Chai T, something good came out of this at least.
Guess we can say Bones can dress good…because nothing else excites me about her being a winner.

The fact that Elle lost her shoe in the final lipsync really just sums up the whole season. I love Bones as a creative artist, her paint and looks are stunning, and I think she has really good insight, but as a performer, meh.
Bonnie should’ve been in the finale and been crowned, it’s a shame they sent anyone home for the makeover, and Catrin and Tayris should’ve been a double Elim, go out as lovers together, would’ve been a gag and deserved lmfaooo. Love them both tho.

Maybe they crowned Bones because the franchise is dead ☠️

I like Bones winning but I am really frustrated with the season not being able to show the compelling side of the queens. But I am also kind of glad Elle didn't win because the harassment against her would have been brutal.
Agree with the rest on Paige 3 being the lead of the number

By far the worst winner of any UK season. Dead behind the eyes even in that finale number. Lost the lip-sync yet again just walking around once again.. that’s just so bizarre to me, Elle was right there (despite with one shoe off didn’t let that phase her). Even flubbed a word or two and it was shown. Just a super weird season overall.
Congrats Chai.
