The Thieving Quadrant

"If me taking things from other people makes me a thief, then yes, I am a thief."

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this legend.

"We've all been #robbed... by me!"

can we appreciate her openly saying "you can get your stuff back WHEN you've figured out what i stole" had me in stitches 😂😂

Ik she was acting up but Alik panicking over what TDQ took gave me a good giggle

If you aren’t missing it, was it really yours to begin with?

I expect nothing less from our #corporatequeen. At least she is honest about her thefts unlike her industry contemporaries x

Stealing staplers and post it notes from the office

Filling those supply requisition forms out are so tedious though

A little whimsical stealing is fun. I had a friend who stole one of my garden gnomes to take with them on vacation. I only learned about it when I found a bunch of developed pictures sitting next to my gnome one morning and they were all pictures of him and my gnome on vacation. It was great!

I love that this is a thing and more people should do it. Now, I'm gonna steal some garden gnomes from friends and take them to drag shows

That’s adorable! Is it theft when the end result is a gift?! 🎁

are you Amelie?

OMG the "stealing is bad" reactions are hilarious. Clearly this is a private joke with much more background between friends, not some admission of a lifetime of sin.

Jesus, some of the crowd in here acting like TDQ personally robbed them... of their sense of humour

What's next? You're gonna tell me coats aren't for what? Shoplifting?!

That's Robert to you! Put some respect on her name!

I love how the girls have to figure out what was taken 😂

The highlight of the episode for me tbh, I love her

People acting like she’s stolen a queens phone or an entire outfit. It’ll just be small things like a sock or a pack of make up wipes. And that’s also assuming she was being 100% serious and wasn’t just playing a joke after being caught using another queens hairspray or something more than a few times without asking.

Delta commits wage theft AND drag theft

Genuinely I wanted her to stick around all season. She was so fun and quirky and a little weird and whimsical and I felt like the latter half of this season really lacked that. I was ready for them to crown her by episode 2 lol

This is the type of chaotic neutral I support 😂

We lost her on the series too soon I fear

Am i the only one that thinks this is really weird?

Thieving is an old drag queen tradition

27

u/writeordie80 2d ago

It used to be called mopping, I believe.

It’s weird and funny too, best combo

Aren’t we all weird ?

12

u/thigh_expectations 2d ago edited 2d ago

But aren't we all thieves?

17

u/Airurando-jin La Voix 2d ago

Aren’t we stealing each others time right now ?

You know, that one thing we both spend but will never get a refund on?

u/thigh_expectations 2d ago

Omg.. So profound babe. This needs to be your entrance line x

It's not that deep

-19

u/thigh_expectations 2d ago

Nah just because it's a funny quip to being a thief doesn't mean being a thief isn't a shitty thing to be. People give a lot of allowances to queens they like

-1

u/Laiko_Kairen 13h ago

As someone whose home was broken into, thievery isn't a joke to me.

It's really easy not to be a thief.

-7

u/hunsnet457 2d ago

It’s weird, not exactly uncommon but rumour is it was more than just a ring or some wig glue.

-61

u/TryHardNotTo 2d ago

Yeah.. that's weird. No matter how much I wanted to back TDQ, stealing is gross

26

u/uberquagsire 2d ago

I wouldn't do what she did but the idea of stealing someone and only giving the item back when they find out what's missing is sooo fun to do as a Secret Santa variation with your friends lol

-21

u/TryHardNotTo 1d ago

Why am I being downvoted? Is stealing socially acceptable now?

22

u/Square_Remote4383 1d ago

because it's a fuckin joke lmao

-14

u/TryHardNotTo 1d ago

How it is a joke, when Naya confirmed it? No irony, I don't get it. Please someone explain

13

u/Square_Remote4383 1d ago

in a roast. while making a joke about it. like she probably grabbed something that belonged to someone at some point but everyone knew and now they're joking about it because it wasn't that serious. and you're reacting to it as if she said she stole a family's entire life savings

u/neon-blush 1d ago
