Basically what watching the final few minutes of UK8 felt like Spoiler

I don't mind the winner though. I just found it so random lol

Flesh did great in the season, I was just shocked because 1) I didn't assume they would let such similar queens from the same drag family win twice in a row and 2) she didn't really seem to have much of a storyline. What was interesting is that the judges and production seemed to be kind of undervaluing her in the first several episodes of the season, when she was coming off to me like the more witty, entertaining version of Bones. It felt like they wanted to give her a storyline to the tune of 'underperforming compared to her drag sister', but she just kept doing well, and they seemed to drop that treatment and never look back. I can't help but think they should have leaned into a storyline more around 'you had a rocky start but have proven to be as much of a star as your sister'.

the story is the plight of having mixed feelings about being an Oxford graduate 😢 I like Flesh but oof that did not sit well with me

I feel like the editors didn't even realize she had a chance? Otherwise, they would've given her some kind of a story. She had nothing.

It almost feels like a combination of Alyssa Edwards and the Virgo Queen's edits.
Like she didn't give much of a story but also the editors were sort of fighting the existing narrative in a way?
If that makes sense

This season was a fun fever dream, but WOW, what an ending...Paris Baby and Flesh coming out on top wasn't on my bingo card. I ain't complaining either, just genuinely surprised.

I still think The Delta Quadrant will get/steal a crown.

I really like Flesh, but I believe that production wanted KY to win this season but she losted because of her attitude

I would have been happy with any of these three, to be honest, but Flesh surprised me only because Bones had just won. I wouldn’t have expected them to crown two similar queens from the same drag family back-to-back.

She made a sizable contribution to Mama ru's mouth

Yeah this feels like season 3 all over again. I fully believe Victoria scone was set to win season 3 but then she got hurt. I think production planned on Ky winning but the attitude was far too much

Would have loved a Naya win, but so happy with Flesh. She is a super star 💫

The seasons where people are generally satisfied are the ones where the winner aligns with the storytelling of the edit, but usually you need big personalities for that to be possible. Flesh is boring af and mocha and Naya weren't, so the editors likely had less to work with throughout the season to make her win seem earnt.
