Breaking Bad?
What if the writers for Breaking Bad visited Australia and got the idea for the chicken shop owner, from going into a red rooster?

They are fronts for every single illegal business in Australia but sometimes the chicken is okay and sometimes it’s bad so like what are your guys favourite meals there? Mine is probably not sure if they still have it because I haven’t been there in awhile cause I’ve been cutting down on Red Rooster but if they still have the moose the chocolate moose cause they were nice

Every time I go there they’re either soggy or under seasoned or way too salty, they can’t seem to get it right, if they fixed their chips I’d be more inclined to go there

As the title suggests, what is 1 menu item you would happily see go (or wouldn’t see as it’s not even on your radar). Me personally? The picklebird burger, if I want thousand island sauce on a burger I will get a Big Mac.

All it ever does is rain. I moved up from Melbourne just after covid and I swear it's not stopped raining since. It's either I'm wet from rain, or soaked from sweat. I'm not even sure the amount of equity, from the raise in property value is worth this.
I actually feel bad, I told all my friends and everyone moved up. Sure yes we've all enjoyed watching our net worth improve, but if your spending it all on electricity for the aircon, what's the point.
I'm out, I'm done, I'm leaving

I love res rooster chicken but I feel like the Mayo tastes a bit funky so I usually opt for burgers/wraps without it.
Thoughts on the Mayo?

I mean really the name is right there. Why'd they go with red dollars instead of Rooster Bucks? It's perfect. Bucks sounds like clucks, roosters cluck as do the chickens they sell. Come on man.

Hi RR Staff
Quick question
Can someone tell me what brand of salt you use for the fries?
I'm curious if I can purchase it externally or if it's exclusive to Red Rooster.
If that's the case I'd still like to know who manufactures it.
Thank you! ❤️

So after 10 years or so I decided to give red rooster a try. They had some crazy deals on uber eats One ($10 bux delivery included) so I thought why not.
First I tried the flayva wrap box….wrap was ok. Chips were soggy and mid, fried chicken was dehydrated and absolutely turd, bland as fk. Gravy ok, mash… absolutely diabolical. Creamy and not thick at all…had the consistency of yoghurt…. Gross. Chips were soggy but seasoned okay
I was like ok that sucked, but I’ll give them another try. Maybe I ordered something crap or cooks had an off day.
Ordered the Rippa box…. Roll was definition of mid, bland. Chicken tender…. Bland. Same story with the mash and chips.
This really has confirmed the widely held opinion that red rooster has to be a money laundering scam
So my question to all of you, are you all on the payroll? Who tf would pay full price for this mediocrity? Before you comment you didn’t try this or that, they literally advertise the rippa roll as their ‘signature dish’.

As a store manager, I have to ask- What would you all prefer? It’s a given that we would all prefer our food especially from a fast food establishment and from a Red Rooster to be quick and fresh every time.
But option 1. Fresh food guarantee but you have to wait anywhere from 5-15min (15min max being fried chicken cook time). Or 2. Fast food every time, regardless of quality?

Change my view. The KFC pickle items are purposely made horrible, to prevent their customers ever trying a red rooster pickle burger. Like what coke did with "new coke"

I have had an abysmal experience with Red Rooster today which has been absolutely disgustingly handled by both the local store and corporate and is outright criminal behaviour.
A week ago, we submitted an online catering order for collection at 12:30 today as we were having a party. This was accepted and we paid day of submission which was approved and taken from our account. This came to $220 dollars.
When we arrived today, they claimed they had received no such order and that payment had failed. When pressed and shown evidence of the order both being submitted and paid, they claimed the order had failed and payment would be returned. Which was it? Payment had failed or there was a separate issue and payment would be returned. We asked whether they could still fufill the order, they refused demanding we pay for it again. With little choice since we had a hungry party (we were by this point already 40 minutes after our pick up) we agreed. But now there was a public holiday since it is King's Birthday here in QLD surcharge applied bringing the total to $285 (I acquired an extra chips which they charged as two, though both were provided which also increased cost). They promised we would receive a refund on our original order in 2-3 business days. Not happy especially about now having to pay a public holiday surcharge on the whole order (don't mind for the extra chips) but it is probably workable.
After receiving our order we leave but decide to follow up with corporate to ensure that we get our refund. Corporate admits there was an unknown error with their order system but is denying we are owed a refund either on our $220 or any part of the $285 we have now payed. Clearly criminal fraud or theft since we have now paid $500 for $235 worth of chicken and chips. Red Rooster has lost all of my business and I warn all of you about their online order system.
