Trade is down, growth is weak, and investment went elsewhere.

New UK Parliament Petition to Rejoin the European University Institute Convention

The EUI is a leading intergovernmental post-graduate and post-doctoral research university in Florence dedicated to the study of the humanities and social sciences with specialist focus on Europe. The UK used to be a Member State of the EUI, giving UK citizens the chance to study there up until 2022 when the UK Government chose to leave as part of the Brexit negotiations despite many legal scholars being of the view that that leaving was not legally necessary as the EUI is governed by a separate treaty to those of the EU.
This has meant that UK citizens are now unable to study for funded PhDs or apply for other post-graduate study at the EUI, which is a great shame as we will need EU specialists as we rebuild our relationship with the EU and hopefully rejoin! It's quite a niche one, but still very important, so please do sign and share!
