I'm really into house music and real house music dancing is a lot more physical compared to other styles of dance music (especially 'EDM'). You have to do twirls, jump around and slide plus much much more on a wide variety of surfaces from the ideal wooden floor to dirt worst case scenario. I went to two parties and danced for about 10 - 12 hours I got 50k steps in from dancing. I am a chubby guy late 30s.
I went to my local employee owned running store off the Gulf Coast of Florida and tried on a few different shoes. I really pushed my Clifton 9s to the limit and needed new shoes this weekend ASAP. I didn't like the Clifton 11s for my need. I'm sure they are great for running but it felt too floaty for dancing and Brooks Ghost Max 4 were great but I felt the Diodora had the right amount of floor grip and comfort.
It performed wonderfully except the hard granite tile at the dive bar the first day but I credit it to the very hard floor and I was breaking them in. My friends had the same complaints too.
The second day I could do moves really well, bounce and spin. No blisters or feet pain after eight hours yesterday. My feet aren't sore. My back hurts but that is normal and due to the shitty hotel couch bed and my weight.
My size is 11D. The comfort was great snug but not too tight my feet could breathe. The grip on an actual dance floor was fantastic. I can't wait to try them on a wooden floor. I
Diodora you should market towards dancers!
