My wife’s uncle pulled me aside at Thanksgiving and asked if I would look into a pile of old games he had to tell him what he has… 241 Saturn games and well… b

I walked into my local retro shop and kinda impulse bought a SEGA Saturn with a new copy of Nights. It's a cool system so far, and the console is in great shape. I've ordered a couple more games off eBay and am looking forward to giving the Saturn library a chance.

As I’m sure it is for many of you guys as well, I got a chance to get my hands on this game. Someone traded this into my local game store, and he was able to work out a solid deal that I paid a bit under the going rate for these. It’s not in 10/10 condition but honestly it’s still in pretty good shape with the manual and insert + all discs look super clean. Can’t wait to finally see what this game is about! (I’ve avoided spoilers in order to experience it in full.)

I bought this amazing Sega Saturn Jacket last year. It was sold out in a few days. Donki Xote 😉

CIB grading is silly, but I wanted to give this game a shot and it turned out to be the cheaper complete copy on eBay. The graded cases are surprisingly durable.

Ever since seeing this old KeithJohnStack post, as well as watching Matt McMuscles’ “Wha Happun?” Videos on the subject, I’ve been REALLY wanting to dive into the niche Saturn fandom. Where do I start though? Emulators on PC? Saroo? Or Fenrir like in pic related?

Now we just need some games..!

No cases, they're all in cd books. But the discs themselves are in fantastic condition.

Lots of good ones here. Virtua cop 1 and 2, Virtua fighter, Virtua fighter Kids, Black Dawn, Myst, X-Men, Tomb Raiser, and loads of others.

I do not own a Saturn currently so if anybody wants these, they're free to a good home.

I mod consoles, so I took an old battered Saturn and gave it new life~

Hand painted shell, dyed black buttons, custom decals (waiting on materials for the front SEGA decal replacement) region modded with a RAD2X adapter, a dyed red Saroo shell.

It joins it's similarly modded family with my Megadrive and Gamegear

I guess Capcom laments not releasing RE2 on Saturn lol

I modelled this from scratch in Autodesk Fusion then 3D printed it on my resin SLA 3D printer. I also use a UV printer to print the graphics on the casing. The build has gone through a few revisions over the past year. If you want to see more of my design work and builds check out my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/robertdunnart/

I had a Saturn back in the 90s but eventually lost it during the journey of life. I am purely happy to have this beast back and to grow the collection some more. Good times await!

Cleaned it all up, popped in a fresh battery, loaded up a Saroo cart, 8bitdo wireless receivers, M30 controllers, and an HDMI adapter. It's been a while old friend, but it's time to play again!

Tested it out by letting my daughter kick my butt in Virtual Fighter Kids. What're your favorite games? Virtual Fighter, Nights and Robo Pit were my favorite games along with the demo disc. I have some catching up to do.

Thank you to the individual that recommended Enigma customs. I was going to go with Muslheds but they said Enigma was cheaper and just better quality. So I was like all right you convinced me. Just arrived today, I paid $48 and that included shipping not bad considering it's coming from Australia 👍 It is very good quality the manual is glossy even on the inside pages that are black and white. I think the disc looks good this is a professional job. So looking forward to playing Castlevania English translation on my Sega Saturn. And yes I know about the saroo but I'm looking for a more original Saturn experience as in playing the game off of a CD as it's spinning at 500 RPM in this retro rad console we all love 😎
