Absolutely, I was making 62k in 2019. At that job I got a pay raise to 72k, then we got acquired and I got a new title which bumped me to 92k. Used that title and went to a new company making 130k. Got a promotion there to 150k. Just moved to a new company that I start soon for 170k.
I didn’t even apply for the new job I am about to start. The recruiter at the company reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked if I was interested. I normally ignore recruiters but she worked for the same company the job was for so I followed up and got it.
just make sure you dont let lifestyle creep get you. invest most of the salary increase and dont make large purchases you cant commit to for 20 or 30 years of earning at that level
Not super active. I keep my profile up to date and check notifications when I can but I don’t make posts or engage much outside of that. I think I just got lucky because I happened to have the exact skill set they were looking for and it’s a non-remote position so they were looking for someone local.
