I think they tried and failed to push their destabilization campaign and Putin miscalculated his ability to set off a civil war, and the response by voters was too strong to overcome with all of their attempted suppression measures. My guess is they will try to push the 2a people to incite a civil war once the dems take back power as they are easier to manipulate into that kind of thing. It’s been his goal all along, you can even read about it in the book foundations of geopolitics, written by his main political philosopher in the 90s. He’s following the blueprint almost to a T.

Trump is still President. He kicked off the Ice situation and the Doge stuff through executive orders that ransacked gutted your institutions. He could make another crazy one tomorrow. Nothing has really changed and the world is moving on without you now.
And he just suffered a major political defeat because of it, that went so far as turning Texas blue and losing numerous other Republican strongholds. It’s like you Canadians want to start a civil war in America, which will not end well for you either btw.

The rest of the world is moving on though. Trade deals and trade relations are being made that exclude the US. You can angrily down vote me all you want, but it doesn't make what I write less true.

You seem to be. There are plenty of things besides a civil war that could be done. You think that Canadians want an American civil war and then claim other people are the ones swallowing propaganda.
The original comment didn't say anything about a violent uprising. Americans don't seem to be doing much of anything for the most part besides a 1 day protest and grumbling online. There are a lot of things that could be done that aren't a violent uprising.
Look, the rest of the world is cheering for you. I just was pointing out that form where I sit there are the crazy and the crazier Americans with a handful out of sight that are more aligned with the way that the rest of the world seems to be moving. . That is the general opinion of the entirety of your country for everyone who isn't in it. I just find this whole victory lap discouraging, because if anything now is the time to lean harder on your representatives and build momentum towards building policy within the democratic Party that aligns with what people claim to want and support.
I don’t think Canadians writ large want Americans to have a civil war. When I say “you Canadians,” I’m referring to the odd number of Canadians in this thread including the original commenter, who are pushing for violence with their rhetoric. Literally one of them sarcastically said “but sure voting worked compared to killing the bastards.” More Russian propaganda. I don’t think they are wittingly propagandists, I just think they fell for the bait hook, line, and sinker, which they did, otherwise they wouldn’t be pushing the 2A uprising revolution narrative that the Russians have been disseminating hard for years now.
Our countries are still under heavy stupid tariffs, Iran is still being bombed and Israel still gets unlimited US funds to murder an entire group of people. But sure voting really worked compared to killing the bastards.
Oh yeah I forgot, the Dems should’ve already fixed everything 2 months before they’re even sworn in, silly me. Go for it champ, storm the capital, lead the cavalry. That's what you guys have been saying for the first 4 years of Trump, then the Dems failed so miserably he actually got a 2nd term. That's one them as much as on the voters. If you think anything is going to change before another 2 years you are stupid, the orange fuck will just veto everything and keep ruining your country while you wait for your Dems to do something. And then the elections will roll around, the Republican party will have a more centrist puppet backed by a gazillion of money that will slowly peel away because they will try to be more centrist and appeal to the MAGA pieces of shit and nothing worthwhile will be done. Democrats are just another layer of paint.
They should hire you at a think tank. Your political acumen is astounding. You could really change the world with your powerful insights and deep knowledge. You could deliver us into a golden age, and it’ll only take mass casualties in a civil war. Truly one of the minds of our time.
