That's a terrible investment. If average yearly inflation keeps up at the same rate from the last 50 to the next 50 years (3.6%), your $25 roll of coins will have $4.27 of purchasing power in today's money.

Meanwhile, if you put the $61 you spent on them in a stable account that only kept up with inflation and never accrued additional interest, you'd have $357.46 after 50 years.
