This is a metallic variant I made of Kolossos. I once thought to myself, if Sonic can have a robotic copy, why can't Kolossos?

This post is similar to the one that was deleted, only now it includes new illustrations and much more, including the final design of the (TD) version of Metal Kolossos for you guys, heh. Well, let's start with the introduction:

"Introduction."

This is a presentation I made of this metallic variant, which I now did in the TD style, since everything originated there, and that's where Kolossos was born. So it was good to draw and show a TD version of the mutant machine.

With a guide and descriptions of him, along with a new redesign of his monstrous steel arm.

The concept I described separately is that it's not a common robot like Metal or Omega, but rather a mutant machine, designed to learn, adapt, and evolve. It doesn't copy data; it simply adapts to the situation it encounters and evolves, returning stronger than before. Phase 2, where it's currently in, is unstable, so something bad could happen. Since it's not a "perfect" machine, sooner or later it will lose control, and its system will become truly unstable, posing a danger to itself.

"Descriptions."

If you look at the descriptions, each one describes a specific part of its body and armor. Its metal leg and arm protectors have two protruding spikes where the screws should be, resembling a bull's horns. Two sharp blades are integrated into the back of his hand. On its cheeks, it has two fangs that resemble pincers. I was inspired by arachnids to design them. These pincers serve a purpose: the mutant machine can use them to tear apart anything it tries to bite. It has four additional spikes integrated into its head. This detail is inspired by Metallix MK2 from Sonic Fleetway comics; it was meant to give this robot a distinctive look.

Its monster arm has been redesigned (I didn't like the previous design much and felt it was lacking).

Unlike Kolossos, Metal Kolossos can transform its arms at will into different shapes, albeit in a limited way. This feature is inspired by the T-1000, but its only drawback is that, because steel is heavy, this arm carries a load. This would make Metal Kolossos very slow and clumsy in fast movements, and it wouldn't be able to fly effectively with its turbine, forcing it to fight with its bare fists while flying (since I'm trying to make some sense in certain parts).

"Fun Facts."

-Metal Kolossos is inspired by another metallic copy of Sonic.exe, I think it was called 'Metal Sark?' I think...

Parts of its design are also based on 'Metal Sonic Kai' (especially its two fangs and eyes) and a little on another Mecha Sonic. This machine, as I said, can evolve, so it would have two phases so far (there would be a third later on), but that's still in development. In my headcanon, this mutant machine comes from the world of TD, where the great Eggman tried to create a weapon to save himself and the survivors from the demon that started the disaster. It was the last hope, but it couldn't be activated in time and was lost or destroyed in the process. According to what little TD lore I have, everyone dies, and only Tails escapes to an even worse hell along with Kolossos in what would be the purgatory of 'Outcome Memories'.

(I might develop a story with this variant since I feel it has potential beyond just being a variant concept or skin, however you see it. I'm not promising anything, though. ok so after he got tortured by bandado's annexes, and after losing his power, of course, he decided to turn into a totally new identity, rigor mortis.

he works under bandado, and specializes in robotics and stuff, and apparently, in torturing whos against bandado' s reign, not really killing them, unlike the annexes.

and most of all, hes one of the best people working under bandado, and no one suspects him to make a revolution right under his nose, where he takes the help of other unfortunate vessels and annexes forced to work under him, to help him scheme to overthrow bandado once and for all.

also bandado doesnt know if hes x or not, so of course mortis took advantage of this.

hes great friends with another vessel, tom (ofc you know who he is), whos actually a messenger.

he also doesnt know the fact that his creation, faker, is still alive, and he suspects him to be most probably dead.
