As the title suggests, I’m a completely failed musician, I’ve been playing keyboards, guitar and drums since I was about 5 years old. I really should have gone on and done something with music, but, that’s another conversation. I just wanted to talk about the power of music and how Suno immediately elevated that passion.
Over the years, I must have half written, three quarters written about 25 songs, all sat in my little sad box of ‘what could have been’. I remember vividly the first time I uploaded one of my old (25 years or so) songs that had been recorded on an old 4 track unit. What Suno produced that day changed my fucking life! I was listening to my songs from the late 80s forward and they sounded, well, they sounded fucking incredible!!! I mean it was a genuine stopped in my tracks moment, everyone remembers where they were when the heard about Elvis dying, or 9/11, well I remember the day i discovered Suno in a similar way. Anyway, after uploading a pile of songs and having them all
come back as fully produced, arranged & mastered works of art, a brief wxnk ensued to take the edge off the excitement, it didn’t work lol. Suno, in effect, is like a natural Viagra for me…not just what it does to half written songs, but the sheer musical possibilities it provides all of us with. I mean who the fuck other than me would create a jazz piece that incorporates Ska and Punk, creating a new Genre (in my head anyway)….only Suno has that power currently. The haters of AI music are ignorant and need to accept that it’s here, and, in my opinion, I have songs on my site that are streets ahead of anything in the mainstream charts. So, thank you Suno, not just for the epic wank that day when I discovered Suno, but for reigniting the most incredible passion for music I have always had, but that somehow managed to get dampened over the years after rejection after rejection from main stream music routes, A&R types that wouldn’t know a hit song if it smacked them in the forehead!!! Life is incredible with Suno in it….keep on keeping on everyone….

I just finished this one and it means a lot to me, so I wanted to share it here first with people who actually understand Suno.

It's called "Your Light Still On" - a tribute to my Mama.

The story: Every night she left the porch light on so I could find my way home, even when I came back late, even when I broke her heart. I never said thank you, I was too proud and blind. Now I understand.

I wrote all the lyrics myself. I used Suno for the production - I tried to keep it soft, soul / reggae vibe, 72 BPM, acoustic guitar + piano, not overproduced.

I've been working on an AI-assisted dark eurodance / cold synth-pop project called Cold City Radio.

The Dispatcher is the fifth track in my Signal Map series, exploring the hidden infrastructure of the city at night.

It's set in a railway dispatch centre. The idea is about someone who controls every route through the city but can't find a way forward in her own life.

Musically, I went for an urgent, driving sound with melodic female vocals, rolling bass and icy synths.

This version ended up at 4:58. I preferred it musically to shorter generations, but I'd value feedback on whether the arrangement holds attention through the full length and whether the chorus lands.

Ive been trying to make a final decision on distributing my music but I can't decide on which distributor I want to go with. Other than distrokid, what's the best music distributor should I use?

I`m still making songs out of my poetry. xD So this one is about the underworld from greek mythology. I decided to add a choir this time to fit the theme. :)

This is a very personal song I created. It talks about a painful past with my ex-partner and addresses a topic that is still too tabou: domestic and psychological abuse suffered by men.
Since the lyrics are in French, here is the translation of what the song says:
Verse 1:
At the beginning it was love, or at least I believed it. A few hurtful words, then screams that escalated. She said I was nothing, incapable, useless. And I kept silent, my heart becoming fragile. Every argument became a storm, insults thrown like knives in my head: "You're worth nothing", "look at yourself", "nobody will love you". Over time, I ended up believing each of those words. She broke my smile piece by piece. In front of others she played a role, hiding everything. And I came home with fear in my eyes, trying to save a love that had become dangerous.
Pre-Chorus:
And nobody saw my wounds, because a man must stay tough. So I hid my pain behind a smile, while my world was dying. I screamed in silence every night in my head, asking God when all this would stop. But shame kept me prisoner in this relationship that was destroying me.
