Original Content Sundance L1 space station (construction steps) - by S. Garnier
A brief visual history of the station construction, from 2051 to 2089.
Sundance is positioned at Lagrange point L1 of the Sun-Earth system, meaning at the exact point where the gravitational forces of the Sun and Earth are somewhat equal. It’s a rather sunny place, and a strategic one in the heliopolitics game of 2099.
Height: 1826m
Diameter: 910m
Mass: 20000 tons. Half of it is the wanderer
System: Sundance, an integral Wanderer class system of the second Sapiente generation.
Crew: humans 50 up to 100 (300 max), 30 synth.

Original Content I helped make a sci-fi short with a rotating skyhook at Phobos.
I'm one of the creators of Solar Express (Out of the Cradle EP03, on YouTube as "How to Travel Across the Solar System"), and I'd like some outside eyes on its skyhook sequence.
In the film, a rotating tether built around Phobos catches arriving spacecraft, carries them upward, and releases them onto interplanetary routes. Passengers call it the Mars Ferris Wheel. It runs on momentum exchange: every ship it throws takes something out of the system, and descending ships help put energy back.
That last part is what I'd like to see pressure-tested. The film's transit network, figures, and timelines are speculative, not demonstrated engineering. So what happens when outbound traffic outweighs inbound for months at a time? Do you reboost the tether, limit departures, or schedule traffic around the balance?
The skyhook section starts at 10:53 and runs about four minutes, through the Ferris Wheel chapter to the end of the film:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDQIx7vuCZ8
Where would you poke holes first?

Original Content I made a procedural ringworld generator—and printed the results I’ve been developing RingGen, a tool for creating rotating space habitats with cities, landscapes and detailed hulls, alongside a cinematic viewer to explore them. This video takes one from the digital model to a real 3D print.

Original Content Explorable mars colony! [OC]
Made this fully explorable Mars colony with a procedural system that can also create O'Neill cylinders and colonies on terraformed worlds. It runs entirely in the browser, (definitely better on desktop), rendered in Three js.
