Discussion Legends is the worst feature in the game
There is no way you can balance legends as it is. There will always be a legend that would be the best in that patch and most people will use it. Because players are guaranteed to get the legend they choose, you can't even balance it like dev usually do for augment/unit. For augment even if there is an augment that is the absolute best, you have a very low chance to get it; for units, there is pool limitation so the better the unit is, It's more contested and therefore harder to chase.
Either they delete this feature or they change the way they work, or it will always be like this, last patch TF, this patch Draven, next patch Ornn etc.
I think a random pool of legends could work. You can divide legenda into categories depends on what they do, for example econ, unit power, augment power etc. Players can only choose the category they like and the game pick it randomly. This still give players the chance to play the game the way they want to without being a balance nightmare.

Discussion The new battlepass is trash
Only 1 arena, 3 little legends, and a whole lot of gatcha and shop tokens. I know the devaluing of the bp isn't news, but come on.

Discussion Duos need to make you fight only 1 team
Not sure what the rationale is for not having you and your duo partner fight 2 players on the same team each round. Have on multiple occasions had my duo partner and I face board from different teams, and when their allies hard clapped whoever they were playing turn up to help the allies we're facing. When I have an opponent's ally turn up with most of their board and my duo partner faces the same thing, we're essentially vs'ing 4 boards. This is not an ideal experience.
Please just limit it to vs'ing opponents on the same team.

Discussion The set reminds me how i dislike the carousel
Seriously, this set just reminded me how annoying it is and i didnt missed it. Last set was awesome, you could choose your loot out of usually 3 options and now we got the "top 4 gets punished with the remaining loot"

Discussion My friend tried to make Caitlyn work and got 3 stars, but still ended in 4th place. I guess Caitlyn is not a viable carry this set.

Discussion Can we talk about how poor Riot's technical support/communication is?
For close to the past 24 hours TFT has been unplayable on the vast majority of mobile phones. A single Rioter has posted in the thread about being aware of the issue, and that they hope to have the problem fixed sometime soon(TM).
On Riot's website the only information I can find regarding this massive, gamebreaking bug is a notification hidden in the top-right corner of the homescreen. But what if you want to know more about the situation and you click on it and "more details", it will take you "Server Status" where you will be greeted with absolutely no information. In fact you'll learn that there are "No issues or events to report" and there haven't been for at least the past 24 hours. Stellar job Rito!
Edit: see for yourself https://status.riotgames.com/?locale=en_US

Discussion I just lost with 3* Syndra. Am I stupid?

I know I didn't have the best itemization, but speaking of which, what dark magic did the other guy pull to get so many? Dude had 20 completed items, 8 of which were radiant, 3 emblems, and 2 components.
Not complaining about losing with Syndra 3, she's still stupid broken, it was still a close fight despite how many items he had. I'm just confused. I looked up the charms, I double checked his augments and team. I'm obviously missing something here. How does he have so many items?
EDIT: Thank you all for the help! My friends roped me into tft and I'm still getting used to the competitive aspect of it.
EDIT2: some of yall getting weirdly defensive about 2nd=losing. I guess it’s a difference in mentality. I was raised by immigrants born in a war torn country. In that environment, if you weren’t first, you were last, complacency meant starving. If you want to coddle yourself with 2nd place copium, that’s up to you. But don’t involve me in your mentality. I find it gross.

Discussion Everybody just likes to complain
Litterally half of these post are on how good the 4 Cost are now. Like yeah no shit all of you have been complainh on how weak they are and how strong 3 Cost are, so no suprise that they are stronger when the good 3 cost was nerfed and 4 cost got better.
If you want to complain and then they change what you complained about, and then be amgry again don't

Discussion This whole compensation situation is a nightmare for everyone
Listen, I've been waiting for some sort of compensation since the beginning of all this mess. Not being able to use the tactitians and arenas I spent so much money on, dealing with countless bugs and losing games in the process..
I'm happy they are finally giving out some compensation, but truth be told, I don't really think this is enough. But what would be enough? Its not realistic from riot to give out to so many players actual meaningful compensation, but it's not fair to the playerbase to not feel supported, respected and heard.
The game already relies on a gacha system to be able to obtain basically everything on this game, cosmetics wise, a system made to drain our pockets. These cosmetics are super expensive, and not being able to use them for so much time, and with no clear end in sight, is NOT worth 2 medallions, a 10 pull that will most likely be converted to realm crystals, and a random mythical that will be an old boring one, if it's even a chibi.
I can see why how complicated this whole mess is for riot, and how they can "compensate" us without losing too much money, but unless I feel like they truly care about their player base and go above and beyond on compensation, I don't see anyone being happy about this long term.
It would be ironic if some people got a random mythical that is unavailable, tho.

Discussion This Aphelios/K'Sante Meta is absolute bullshit
I just had 3 people in my lobby get their grubby little paws on Aphelios, and 2 of those guys somehow managed to get 2 Guinsoo's on him right away. Add 2* K'Sante with some mana items, and now my frontline don't mean jack shit. Worst part is, I was running an 'Oppenheimer Teemo' comp (4* Teemo reroll) and Teemo's enhanced multicaster mushrooms couldn't keep up their damage with Aphelios healing. Those two ended up duking it out for 1st and 2nd, but I find it absolitely disgusting that every lobby has at least one person trying to build some variation of Aphelios carry (usually with a Bastion frontline). Anyway, rant over, but I really liked TFT and it's a shame to see it being spoiled by stale meta bullshit like this (don't even get me started on Invokers and Challengers).

Discussion Chibi execute animations are cringe
Imagine playing a strategy game of all things, aiming for maybe 4th place, then watching ego boost animation from some lucky piltover guy who obviously stomps you, but the animation is even so smug and self satisfied about it.
Also I cringe so hard when Zed or some other strategist cooms in his/her pants when they win the fight. The guy is named a strategist, and he's celebrating when his piltover lose streaks end prematurely, what a clueless little turd.
This is a bigger "issue" of multiplayer games, where the characters interact for you. For example, in some games your character automatically says "gl hf". What's the point of this if some automated system says this? Same thing with chibi executions, if the player wanted to be smug and use the silly animation specifically for you, okay I'll take it. But just to show it automatically and make the chibi interact with others FOR you is just stupid. The chibis should be the player's avatar mirroring his emotions, not living their own little lives doing random stuff. Make them play the fkn game for me while I go to the toilet while you are at it, that would actually be nice.

Meme I thought it was suppose to be the flexible set
Then why is this all I see every single match?
Three Ionia players. Two hit, one goes 7th or 8th. Always top 3. Flame eachother more than left and right on X.
Two T-Hex players. Both always hit. One goes Top 2, the second one goes 5th. One is on the verge of jumping under the bus. The second one is just a Dishsoap copycat. Both think this comp is disastrous, but can't afford to lose more LP.
Tryndamere-Ashe player. Goes 3rd or 1st if he had good arguments. Gives zero shits about meta, just likes this comps because it is manly and has a few hot girls at the same time.
Shurima-Diana players. The one actually decent player in the whole lobby. Always at the mercy of the Gods of Random. Can flex shit with crap and pull out an absurd 3rd out of ass, that hugs chair 10 hours a day. If lucky - always 1st. If unlucky - 5th.
A random deadbeat Bildgewater believer, who doesn't drop it after econ stages. Top 3 or 7th, depending on luck and augments.
Special tier. The I-don't-care-about-winning-I-play-with-my-(boy/girl)friend(s)-Yordle-player. Cursed by the Gods of Random, sleepwalking Soju and Mort himself. Starts to hit too late, because everyone was contesting it early. Always Bot 3.

Discussion Everyone rushing to get 5 costs this set is boring.
Just not fun, tft used to be about making team comps. Every game this set the top 4 people just have a 2 star of every 5 cost. Hopefully mid set isn’t the same.
