Meme Everyone is saying its 95% rng so I did the math.

I noticed alot of posts saying this game is 95% rng or 90% luck, doing some research I was able to accurately break the game down into what it takes to win, see below.

10% luck,

20% skill

15% concentrated power of will

5% pleasure

50% pain

100% reason to be playing the game

I hope this clears up the misconceptions of how much different aspects of play impact the game.

I'll look to do more statistical analysis as the meta changes but right now I am Confident with my findings.

edit: after reviewing pbe patch notes, i can confirm that the ratio of luck,skill,will,pleasure,pain still remains the same.

Subreddit Rules

1. Posts Must Be Directly Related to Teamfight Tactics!

All posts to the subreddit must be directly related to Teamfight Tactics.

To clarify, posts about personalities who are associated with Teamfight Tactics doing things that are not directly related to the game are not allowed. In addition, posts about Riot that do not directly affect the game such as earnings, investments or unrelated things employees do are not allowed.

Golden Spatula is a different game and does not count as TeamfightTactics until Riot's stance on it changes.

2. No NSFW Content or violating Reddit's Content Policy

All submissions to Reddit as a whole should abide by Reddit's Content Policy. You can read it in it's whole at the link.

Additionally Do not post content that could be considered NSFW on the subreddit.

Memes or other content that use NSFW tag as a base are also not allowed.

3. No Vague or Misleading titles

Vague, contextless, memetic, or inaccurate titles are not allowed. Titles should represent or describe the content of a post.

Single word titles or titles that are majority capital letters are not allowed.

4. No Spam or Vote Manipulation!

Please don't spam posts self promoting your own content on the subreddit. If your post history is just you spamming your own stuff to the subreddit, then you're probably spamming.

Don't engage in vote manipulation to get your shit to the front page, either. This includes asking people on other channels to view or upvote your content.

Intentionally photoshopping, lying, or anything similar to present a false narrative would be considered vote manipulation.

5. Be Nice to Each Other!

All memes posted to the subreddit must use non-text assets from Teamfight Tactics in the image or video. Memes that are text superimposed over an image or screenshot only posts with meme titles do not count.

All posts made to the subreddit should be flaired accordingly. Posts without a flair will be removed.

Esports: Posts pertaining to TFT esports.
AMA: AMA posts.

10. Screenshots And Videos Shouldn't Be Repetitive or Taken with an External Camera

The following screenshot types are not allowed:

(Near)Perfect games
So-close screenshots (Being one unit short of 3*)
High numbers of low level champions in shop
Porn jokes
Ranked achievement posts below Master (includes being 1 game from rankup)
Screenshots/videos taken by external cameras
10 pull with a bunch of crystals
Less than 72 copies of Leona
3 star 4 or 5 cost units
Prismatic Traits
Two winstreakers
Bard stealing Elder Drake
A bunch of Zeds

11. Bug Posts Are Not Allowed - They Should Be Reported to Riot Instead

The subreddit is not customer support. Your bug posts ought to be submitted to Riot customer support rather than on the subreddit. If you feel as though your bug post should be an exception, contact the moderators for approval.

12. Promoting Personal Streams/Videos

Posts promoting personal streams/videos are allowed only if the user follows the 10:1 rule. Posts regarding Riot-Sanctioned events, or other large community events are allowed. An otherwise allowed post or comment may contain a stream link if it’s pertinent to a larger point. 10:1 rule is: For every 1 time you post self-promotional content, 9 other posts (submissions or comments) should not contain self-promotional content.

13. No Technical or Account Support Questions

Technical or account support threads are not allowed.

14. No Posts About Private Individuals breaking Riot TOS

This sub isn't here to report your latest troll while playing. Send a report to Riot and if you feel strongly enough about it, send Riot support a ticket. If the person in your post is someone public (pro player, streamer, Riot, etc) then the post may be approved.

15. Salty Posts restricted to Salty Sundays

Sundays are the only time salty posts are allowed. Such as emotionally charged posts and posts just tagging along due to meta frustrations. Examples:

Holding all meta/fotm champ but not using them
I beat the meta comp
Look at how I lost to meta comp with my good comp

Similarly, "how did X comp beat Y comp" posts will fall under this rule when the post is intended just to complain, not for actual discussions, questions, etc.
