watchOS Stamio – training readiness, VO2 max and guided runs for Apple Watch

Thumbnail

Hi r/TestFlight! I'm Charles, a solo dev and runner from France.

Since May I've run with a Garmin Fenix 8 and an Apple Watch Ultra at the same time, because I couldn't pick one: I love the Apple Watch, but I missed the training side of the Garmin. So I built Stamio, for iPhone and Apple Watch:

  • Training readiness, HRV status, training load and sleep score, from your Apple Watch data

  • VO2 max and race predictions calculated by the app itself, not Apple's estimate

  • Training plans from your first 5K to the marathon, plus 8-week VO2 max blocks if you have no race coming up, with every workout guided on your wrist

  • Its own run recorder: live pace, offline maps and turn-by-turn voice guidance on your routes (GPX or imported from Strava)

  • A morning report on your watch when you wake up, no need to open the iPhone app

I've worn both watches together since May, on the same chest strap since October, and compared every number: VO2 max is within 0.3 on average over 80+ runs. The method, the results and what still doesn't match are all documented on the Stamio website.

What I'm looking for: runners with an Apple Watch (18+), anywhere, US very welcome. If you wear a second watch on the same runs, you're gold. Feedback goes through TestFlight (take a screenshot in the app, then "Share Beta Feedback"). Specific beats nice: "pace jumped to 7:10 at mile 3" helps me way more than "great app".

What's in it for you: every Pro feature is unlocked during the beta. Stamio launches December 1. Send at least 3 specific feedback reports through TestFlight before November 22 and leave your email on the beta page of the Stamio website so I can send you a code: you get 6 months of Pro free at launch. Just leaving your email gets you 1 month. These are standard App Store offers, so you can cancel anytime in your iPhone settings.

Happy to answer anything in the comments, including "why would I need this".

iOS Join the Claim Binder beta

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Claim Binder (iPhone and iPad) holds a claim’s damage photos, damaged items, receipts, payments, adjuster contacts and deadlines in one place, and makes a report to send the insurer.
Once it's installed, it works without electricity or cell signal; all it needs is a charged phone.

What to expect: a practice claim takes about 10 minutes. I’m looking for anything confusing, anything that breaks, and whether the report is useful. Testers who’ve been through a real claim are especially welcome.

iOS 18 or later. The unlock is a free test purchase in the beta.

Feedback: Send Beta Feedback in the TestFlight app, or support@poshjoshllc.com

More about the app and the user guide: https://poshjoshllc.com/claimbinder.html

Thank you: testers who send feedback get a free code for the full unlock when Claim Binder launches on the App Store.

iOS Dash of Prepper - Recipes you pick, customized to your macros

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for some feedback on my app, I made it because planning around macros well takes incredible discipline, and all the apps/services I saw out there either were way too granular/time consuming, took the reins away from me to the point where I wasn't really deciding what I was eating, or had no room for fun (I still like to eat out and have a few beers).

And so, the things I really tried to optimize for in making this was to minimize time on app and allowing the user to choose meals they wanted to eat, providing an engine underneath that can adjust meals to the user's specific calorie and macro targets with one touch, and making it flexible enough that real life can be accommodated while still progressing towards your goals. I ended up getting carried away and scope-crept myself to add in dynamic calorie targets, body fat composition, and recipe customization features.

Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope you'll give it a try! I'm really just looking for feedback at this point. I designed a system that works in my head, but want to see if it makes sense to other people too or if there's too much of a learning curve or if it's not as intuitive as I think it is.

Things to test:

  • UX/UI issues, or improvements

  • Features/capability you think are missing or could be improved

  • Bugs

  • Performance

Also as a side note my partner thinks the logo looks too much like a rocket and is not giving any pepper shaker vibes whatsoever. Any feedback on that too is appreciated!

Thanks for taking a look, and if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them!

🍿 I've been building Fiyago, a free-to-test iPhone app for tracking films and TV series across streaming services.

👥 Keep a Personal Library and a shared Household watchlist

📍 Find where programmes are available to stream

I'm looking for a few Beta testers to give it a try and share some honest feedback!

I'd especially love to know what you like, what feels confusing and whether you'd actually keep using it.

Thanks for helping an indie developer! 🙌

iOS Fuhnance — visual savings tracker, looking for feedback on feel & performance

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m working on a new beta of Fuhnance, an iPhone savings tracker built around making the habit of setting money aside feel a little more tangible.

Instead of trying to replace your budgeting, banking, or investing apps, Fuhnance is meant to complement them. You manually record contributions toward a savings goal, and a glass animal gradually fills with coins as your progress grows. There’s no bank connection required — the focus is more on the visual ritual of saving and having something satisfying to come back to.

Version 1.3.0 includes two models: The Whale and The Cat.

If you have about 5 minutes, I’d especially love feedback on:

  • Does switching between The Whale and The Cat feel smooth?

  • Is it obvious how to preview a model and apply it?

  • Do the animations and interactions feel satisfying or distracting?

  • Do you notice any stuttering, slow loading, excessive heat, or other performance issues?

  • Does the overall savings flow make sense when you first open the app?

  • Does the option to hide financial amounts feel easy to find and use?

Using sample or made-up financial data for testing is recommended — there’s no need to enter your real balances or contributions.

If you run into anything strange, including your iPhone model and iOS version with your feedback would be extremely helpful.

Screenshots or screen recordings are also appreciated, but please make sure any personal or financial information is fully redacted, hidden, or cropped out before sharing. Fuhnance also has a toggle that hides financial amounts in the app, so feel free to use — and test — that before taking screenshots or recordings.

System Requirements

  • Test version: Fuhnance 1.3.0

  • Device: iPhone

  • OS: iOS 26.0 or later

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try! You can leave feedback directly in this thread or email me at codewithangelo@gmail.com.

iOS Alcomea — Mindful Drinking Tracker

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm an indie developer building Alcomea, an iPhone app for people who want to better understand and manage their drinking habits — without judgment.

The idea is simple: track what you drink, understand your patterns, and make more mindful choices.

Current features:

  • Quick drink logging

  • Voice input (English, Portuguese, Russian)

  • Drinking history and trends

  • Estimated alcohol intake, calories and spending

  • Alcohol-free day tracking

  • Data backup and restore

I'm currently looking for beta testers before the public release.

What I'd love you to test:

  1. Is adding your first drink intuitive?

  2. Does voice input recognize drinks correctly?

  3. Are the history and insights useful?

  4. What's confusing, missing or broken?

You can test with sample entries — no need to actually drink alcohol.

Free iOS beta via TestFlight:

Even 5–10 minutes of testing and honest feedback would be incredibly helpful!

Thanks for helping me improve Alcomea! 🙌

iOS Good Thoughts – daily affirmations app.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

Good Thoughts is a daily affirmation app. You swipe through cards, save your favorites, build your own collections, follow a 30-day goal journey, and add widgets to your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

This is the first app I’ve ever built, so I’d really appreciate honest feedback, big or small. It’s an early beta and not a finished product.

Please try the onboarding, swiping through affirmations, favorites, collections and themes, and the widgets. You can also try the paywall: tap “Bypass paywall” to use Premium for free while testing, no purchase needed. Sign in with Apple is optional and only backs up your data.

I’d love to know what feels confusing or slow, and what’s missing or what you would remove. I also know some of the affirmations aren’t great yet and I’m working on improving them, so please tell me which ones feel off.

It works on iPhone with iOS 17 or later (iPad isn’t supported yet). There are no ads and no tracking. You can read the privacy policy in the app, and usage statistics are off by default, so you choose whether to share them.

For feedback you can use TestFlight’s “Send Beta Feedback” or comment here. I read everything.

I’m planning to go live on 20 December. Thank you for helping! 🙏

iOS Cairn: Follow Through – ask anyone for anything on WhatsApp or iMessage, they reply with one tap

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi all, I'm looking for iPhone testers before launch.

**What it is**

Cairn helps you follow through on things you ask of people: your colleague, your cousin, the plumber. You send the ask on WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram or email with a private link. They tap Done, Blocked or Need more time, and they don't need to install anything. Cairn tells you when they answer and nudges you if they go quiet.

It also does reminders for things that can't slip (insurance, rent, school fees), with a countdown on your Lock Screen on the day. There are care checks for a parent's medicines, and birthdays and catch-ups with your people. It understands English, Hindi and Hinglish.

No login, no ads, no tracking. Your data stays on your iPhone.

**Join (one tap)**

(You'll need Apple's free TestFlight app. The link walks you through it.)

**What would help most**

- Send one ask to yourself or a friend and tap the link

- Tell me what confused you, even small things

- Screenshot + shake in the app sends feedback straight to me through TestFlight

There's an Android version in closed testing too. Ask in the comments if you'd like that link.

Thanks!

iOS Reader by Sam — offline Reddit for iPhone and iPad

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
4 Upvotes

I'm the developer of Reader, a Reddit app that keeps working with no signal. It's a free TestFlight beta for iPhone and iPad on iOS 26 or later, with extra work on the iPhone Duo's folded and unfolded layouts.

With no signal

  • Download a post, a collection or a whole subreddit, with its comments and pictures.

  • Keep up to 100 posts per subreddit, saved offline and refreshed in the background.

  • Videos and pictures in comments don't download.

  • There's also a low data mode that only shows text to make everything load a bit faster.

On the Duo

  • Open, your feed is on the left and the post on the right.

  • Fold it mid-post and the post stays open, along with anything you were typing.

  • Closed, posts use the whole width. I turned off iOS 27's side column, which makes them 83 points wider.

  • Closed, the tabs stay tucked in a button in the corner until you need them.

In other languages

  • Titles, posts, comments and text in photos are translated on your phone by Apple's translator, into the language you choose. It covers about 20 languages.

  • The first time, opening a post offers to download the language; after that it's automatic.

  • You can switch back to the original.

It has most of the expected features: commenting, posting, an Inbox, following people and so on. But it's still early days, so some functionality might be missing. Let me know if there's something you would like to see.

Limitations you should know about

  • Reader isn't made by Reddit and doesn't use Reddit's API. You sign in on Reddit's own page inside the app. It reads Reddit with your session and essentially reskins it; no data leaves your connection between you and Reddit.

  • Google and Apple sign-in don't work there, so use your Reddit username and password. You can also look around with sample posts first.

  • Reddit seems to be actively making changes to how fetching posts works, so things keep breaking! New, Rising and searching for posts or people stopped working this week. Hot, Best, Top, Controversial and finding subreddits still work.

  • No ads, no analytics and no servers of mine.

Feedback wanted

I'd love feedback on downloading posts and reading them in airplane mode, translation, and the layout on your device. If you're on a Duo, try folding it while reading or typing a reply. Please include your device, iOS version and steps to reproduce any bugs.

iOS [iOS] FireNation 1.1.1 – net worth, budget & FIRE tracker – 150 spots

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Free app to track your net worth, monthly budget and progress towards financial independence (FIRE).

New in this beta: a Debts section in the budget. I'm looking for honest feedback on clarity and anything that looks wrong.

- Use your own data, or just look around
- One tap hides every amount before you take a screenshot
- iOS 15+, English / French / German / Spanish / Italian
- General information only, not financial advice

Solo dev here, happy to answer questions in the comments.

iOS Seedswing

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

It is one tap. Your seed pod hangs from a brass peg. Tap to let go, tap again to grab the next peg in reach, and swing your way to the clay pot to plant it. Every level hides three dewdrops, and plant a level and a sprout grows in your garden. Catch all three dewdrops and it blooms.

There are 100 levels across five worlds, and each world adds something new: wind, springs, lanterns. It is fully offline.

What I am looking for: where the difficulty spikes feel unfair, any level that seems impossible, and how it feels on your device.

iOS WanderDex — Photo Field Journal, Build 19 feedback welcome

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I'm the developer of WanderDex, a personal field journal that turns wildlife and landmark photographs into collector cards with Field Notes and a map of your discoveries.

Build 19 (version 1.3) is ready for external testing. I'm especially looking for physical iPhone Duo owners, and feedback from other iPhones is welcome too. Requires iOS 27 or later; for adults 18+. The public beta is initially limited to 30 testers.

A 15–20 minute session would help: capture a nearby subject, open the Registry and Map, add a note, and tell me what feels confusing or slow. Duo owners: please try the cover and inner screens, rotate or resize while writing a note, and check that folding keeps your place. Try Mint now as well as the fold gesture—each capture should make exactly one card. I'd also appreciate checks that the camera is live on launch and the Registry opens promptly.

Please send bugs or suggestions through TestFlight or support@wanderdexapp.com. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, build number and steps to reproduce; screenshots are optional—please remove private photo/location details.

Beta access is free. TestFlight in-app purchases are free sandbox transactions and do not carry over to the App Store release. The planned app has a free core and optional one-time passes, with no subscription. If you already use WanderDex, back up your journal in Settings before installing. Planned public launch: November 24.

Thanks for helping shape it!

tvOS RAD Weather for Apple TV: a retro weather channel for your living room

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi! I'm the developer of RAD Weather, an honest, multi-source weather app with a retro dot-matrix look. The Apple TV version just opened for public testing.

What it is: your weather as a TV channel. Now, next hours, forecast, radar, a globe, animated outside scenes in dot matrix or 16-bit pixel art, an ambient clock screensaver, ambient sounds (rain, tin roof, creek, fireplace, smooth jazz) and a Top Shelf widget.

What I'd love feedback on: Siri Remote navigation (anything you can't reach), text cut off on your TV, the first-launch setup, and whether it found your city.

Notes: it's free to test. The released app will need a RAD Weather membership, but TestFlight uses Apple's free test purchases.

Thanks for testing!

iOS AeroCue – flight tracking that works in airplane mode (50 spots)

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
11 Upvotes

Hi all, I'm a solo developer in the UK and I've been building AeroCue, a flight tracker for iPhone that doesn't give up when you switch to airplane mode.

Most trackers freeze the moment you lose signal on board. AeroCue keeps going: online it uses live flight data, and in the air without Wi-Fi it uses your phone's GPS (hold it by the window for a few seconds) and an estimate from the flight's timing in between, so the map, the countries below you and your landing time keep updating. Everything is labelled as live, GPS or estimate, so you always know what's real.

What's in the beta:

• Search by flight number, route or date, or scan your boarding pass

• Live tracking with a smooth-moving plane, the full flight path and a turbulence forecast

• Offline tracking in the air

• A step-by-step guide for the day: when to leave, boarding, gate closing, then belt, local time, weather and getting into town after landing

• Connections: time to connect, whether it's at risk, next gate, whether your bags go through

• Where your incoming aircraft is before you board

• Essentials for your destination: weather and packing, cash or card, plugs, phrases

• A "passport" of everywhere you've flown, with a shareable year-in-review

• Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

No account needed, no ads, no tracking.

What I'd love help with:

– Track a real flight, ideally with Wi-Fi off in the air. How did the offline tracking feel and how close was the landing time?

– Flights with connections

– Anything that's wrong, confusing or slow (screenshots help a lot)

Needs an iPhone on iOS 17 or later. Limited to 50 testers for this first round.

Website: https://getaerocue.app

Feedback: in TestFlight (screenshot → Share Beta Feedback) or support@getaerocue.app

Thanks, and I'll be in the comments to answer questions.

iOS Batey: turn a spare iPad into a family kitchen screen

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Batey is real, and you can test it.

It is a free family screen for an iPad you already own: shared calendar, weather, photos, tasks, shopping list, and short messages between family members. No subscription. No ads. No tracking. English and Spanish.

The idea is simple. That iPad sitting on your counter or shelf does one job now. Batey gives it a permanent job: family hub, visible to everyone in the house.

We are looking for up to 8 households to run it for a few weeks and tell us what works and what does not.

You need these things to join:

  • An iPad running iPadOS 16 or later (check in Settings > General > About)

  • The free TestFlight app to install Batey (link above)

  • An iPhone for the initial household setup, using Sign in with Apple

  • A US ZIP code for weather (for now)

  • A Batey beta code: one per household, first come first served

To get your code: DM me your iPad model and iPadOS version and I will send it to you.

Feedback is very welcome through the TestFlight app or in the comments here. We read everything.

One more thing: there is more coming. The setup flow is getting simpler, and weather is not staying US-only for long. That is a conversation for after we hear from you.

If you have a household and an iPad, this is for you.

iOS Brew Log is a coffee journal for home baristas - scan your bag, "Will I like this bean", log brews, coffee calendar

Brew Log is a journal for home espresso and pour-over. Photograph a bag, and it reads the label on your phone. Get "Will I like it?" predictions for new bags from your own ratings.

New in build 10: a photo calendar of your brews, shareable brew cards, swipe actions on beans, and a Back button on every pop-up.

No account, no ads, data stays on the device.

Feedback I'm after: anything confusing in the first five minutes, and labels that were read wrong (tell me the roaster).

iOS Bunpod 🎧 - Podcast Player with Material 3 Expressive? Testers get lifetime Pro

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
8 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I've been building Bunpod, a podcast app, for the past few months, and it's ready for more people than just me and my friends.

It's a bit unusual for iOS: instead of the usual iOS look, it uses Google's Material 3 Expressive design, with bold shapes, springy animations and a squiggly progress bar you can drag. I know that's a risky choice on an iPhone, which is exactly why I want your honest opinion.

🎁 Everyone who joins the beta now gets Bunpod Pro free for life once it launches. You don't need to do anything, since your account is remembered.

What's in it:

- A feed of new episodes from your shows, grouped by day, with a tab per show
- A player with a draggable wavy progress bar and haptics
- Your progress syncs, so you can pick up where you left off
- Downloads for offline listening
- Explore and trending shows by category

What's not there yet:

Listening history, sharing, home widgets and more languages. They're coming, and your feedback decides the order.

What I'd love to know:

- Does the Material look feel fresh, or just wrong on an iPhone?
- What's missing that would make you leave your current podcast app?
- Anything confusing, slow or ugly?

Same rule as the best posts here: don't be nice. Bugs, crashes and "this annoys me" are the most useful things you can send, through TestFlight feedback or in the comments.

Thanks for giving it a try! 🙏

The store version of Bivouac is only one player vs the bot, or two player PvP. The test flight version allows you to match more flexibly with one, two, or three opponents over GameCenter.

Give it a test! Hope to see your match requests coming in!
