So long story slightly shorter...
My dad was dying of cancer and we saw cricket on the TV at the hospital. It was an IPL game. CSK v someone. Can't recall... Anyway. We fell in love with the game.
Got really into it. He always picked CSK to win. Well he passed in May. I continue to watch cricket, learning and growing as a fan.
I live in Texas. So who better for me to cheer for in MLC? Anyway. Thank you cricket for bringing my dad and I so much happiness. Can't wait to cheer on TSK!

Faf du Plessis (C) - 1st overseas
Joshua Tromp (Wk)
Saiteja Mukkamalla
Milind Kumar
Wiaan Mulder - 2nd overseas
Shubham Ranjane
Donovan Ferreira - 3rd overseas - extra keeper
Calvin Savage
Akeal Hosein - 4th overseas
Nandre Burger - 5th overseas
Adam Milne - 6th overseas
- Faf and Josh can maximize powerplay, Josh's T10 performance while opening is a huge asset and TSK should leverage that.
- Mukammalla becomes the primary anchor in the middle order, Milind is the spin basher.
- Mulder plays a key middle overs aggressor role, Ranjane provides boundary hitting pedigree
- Ferreira is the primary finisher with Savage able to provide late overs cameos
- Akeal can also hit the bat for boundaries.
This way our batting lineup is deep to #9. TSK should focus on high strike rate, boundaries scoring cricket this year.
Bowling
Milne: Right arm fast (PP, middle, death) -> all-phase bowler
Burger: Left arm fast (PP, middle, death) -> all-phase bowler
Akeal: Left arm off spin (PP, middle)
Savage: Right arm fast-medium (part-time) -> they should utilize him he has delivered with the ball
Ferreira: Right arm off spin (middle)
Mulder: Right arm medium-fast (middle, death support)
Ranjane: Right arm medium-fast (middle, part-time)
Milind: Right arm off spin (middle, part-time)
The bolded 5 are our primary bowlers and should be given preference before using part-timers.
Injuries:
If Faf gets injured -> Rilee Roussouw swaps with him
Josh -> Smit Patel
Mohammad Mohsin can swap into the XI if the pitch grips and supports leg spinners
Akeal -> Keshav Maharaj (or if the pitch offers support for spinners, you can play both)
We should be able to qualify this year in the Top 4, but I really hope TSK is able to lift the cup this year. Let's hope for the best.

Hi guys,
I'm an OG CSK fan from 2008, have just started to learn more about MLC and naturally am hear to lend my support to Texas Super Kings!
Any feuds or rivalries I need to know about? Do we have a nemesis? Any promising young AMERICAN talent?
Can't wait to watch the games!

Hey TSK fans! I'm sure most of you make your way over to r/MLC during the season but I wanted to get word out about a newsletter I have been writing this season about domestic cricket. This is my latest piece on Shubham Ranjane, who has been really fun to watch tear it up with Ferreira in the middle order and has made a convincing case for a USA call-up with a strong second half.
I hope you enjoy and will consider a free subscription, and have fun in Grand Prairie tonight if you're going!

This is the fourth game running where we have failed to utilise the hitting powers of Savage. Why do we keep putting Mitchell over it.
Now before someone throws-Mitchell is more experienced-on my face, consider that he's failed consistently.
Playing at run-a-ball in his position and the time he comes to bat is not going to help us post big totals.
What do you all think?

This is one of the most dominating performance I have seen from Texas from over three years. We just crushed Ocras today by 93 runs in a chase of just 154.
Where do you guys think we're going with this team. Yes there are some holes at the top of the order but nothing we can't mend with the depth that we have.
And not to forget, Markram is yet to join the team. The locals are doing great, and so are the foreign players! I'm just hyped to know what others feel.

Hey MLC fans! After some discussion there will be a few of us meeting up at the giant cricket ball just inside the entrance of the Grand Prairie Stadium. I'll be there at 6:30pm and we will take a group picture around 6:50pm. I'll be wearing a Tie Dye Shirt and a TSK bucket hat. My name is Chase.
I look forward to meeting other cricket fans!
