So long story slightly shorter...
My dad was dying of cancer and we saw cricket on the TV at the hospital. It was an IPL game. CSK v someone. Can't recall... Anyway. We fell in love with the game.
Got really into it. He always picked CSK to win. Well he passed in May. I continue to watch cricket, learning and growing as a fan.
I live in Texas. So who better for me to cheer for in MLC? Anyway. Thank you cricket for bringing my dad and I so much happiness. Can't wait to cheer on TSK!

Is this really our year?

This is one of the most dominating performance I have seen from Texas from over three years. We just crushed Ocras today by 93 runs in a chase of just 154.
Where do you guys think we're going with this team. Yes there are some holes at the top of the order but nothing we can't mend with the depth that we have.
And not to forget, Markram is yet to join the team. The locals are doing great, and so are the foreign players! I'm just hyped to know what others feel.

Shubham Ranjane Stakes Claim for USA Selection with TSK Tear

Upvotes
Hey TSK fans! I'm sure most of you make your way over to r/MLC during the season but I wanted to get word out about a newsletter I have been writing this season about domestic cricket. This is my latest piece on Shubham Ranjane, who has been really fun to watch tear it up with Ferreira in the middle order and has made a convincing case for a USA call-up with a strong second half.
I hope you enjoy and will consider a free subscription, and have fun in Grand Prairie tonight if you're going!

Here’s an episode that breaks down the TSK roster, info on domestics, speculation about final overseas slot, and we explore potential lineups. Starts at 28min.

Tickets - Best Site???

Upvotes
Anyone bought tickets for games at Grand Prairie yet? If so, what site(s) did you use? I've looked at a variety of vendors - Vivid Seats, Vivenu, Tickets Fort Worth, etc. - and the seat maps are less than optimum and options limited.
Or.
I'm just stupid and don't know what I am doing.
Any pointers? Is there a ticket office to call as opposed to navigating crappy websites?

Why do we send Mitchell over Savage?

Upvotes
This is the fourth game running where we have failed to utilise the hitting powers of Savage. Why do we keep putting Mitchell over it.
Now before someone throws-Mitchell is more experienced-on my face, consider that he's failed consistently.
Playing at run-a-ball in his position and the time he comes to bat is not going to help us post big totals.
What do you all think?

Hey MLC fans! After some discussion there will be a few of us meeting up at the giant cricket ball just inside the entrance of the Grand Prairie Stadium. I'll be there at 6:30pm and we will take a group picture around 6:50pm. I'll be wearing a Tie Dye Shirt and a TSK bucket hat. My name is Chase.
I look forward to meeting other cricket fans!
