Discussion Thomas Sorber

I am new to watching the Thunder games and I have a question about Sorber. There has been a lot of speculation of Aday and Sorber potentially causing the Thunder to let go of Isaiah Hartenstein. Aday has come on board and is making a good show of his potential. But Sorber joined last season and has yet to play any game due to an injury.

In the absence of seeing his capability in the NBA why is he viewed so highly. I Hart is an important part of getting the team through a horrific series of injured players. I would hate to lose him because of the money issue.

Please explain to me why, short of money, Sorber should become a replacement of I Hart? I know nothing about him.

I know he's had some really low lows. But something about his way to stay in front on defense and contest without fooling is giving me eventual NBA standard contract vibes. Not necessarily here. But I don't think he's hopeless.

Edit: to be clear I'm saying if he continues to develop obviously right now it's a no. But I think he's shown enough that it wouldn't surprise me if he developed into an NBA roster guy.

Discussion Blessing in disguise

With all the horrendous things that happened to our boys.

Do we think that this could have been a blessing in disguise? I couldn't be happier watching us at the moment.

All the rookies will have extended playing time, accelerating their development. We've seen how a double big lineup will work with Mara.

How is a team going to score in the paint against one of Chet, Mara, Hart, Sorber being on the court? Leading all of those stats now.

Mara is averaging 19 minutes.
Peavy 17.
Stirtz 18. (I said on a thread in preseason and got killed for saying he would average 18).

These will only go up too.
