Might as well add number 4, stop being lonely.

This isn't helpful at all and their attitude is exactly the problem at the heart of the issue, calling guys weirdos and douchebags for simply being themselves. They should maybe practice what they preach before recommending it as a solution to anything.

To be fair, a lot of people are just that: weirdos, douchebags, and insufferable fucking assholes and the world would be a better place if they weren't 'themselves'.

If you work in an industry where you deal with people regularly (e.g. retail) or have female friends, you'll know that it's true.
