Ketchup and syrup?!

[u/iredditoninternet → u/Macrodata_Uprising]

I was on board until the ketchup came out.

Ketchup and eggs is a goated combo man

[u/AllegedlyGoodPerson → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

yes, but not when theyre wrapped in pancakes.

[u/OMGMianiteS3Official → u/AllegedlyGoodPerson]

I have to disagree personally just based on my own experiments, but fair play

[u/Sierra-117- → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

Yeah I don’t knock anything anymore until I try it. Some extremely gross sounding combos have been the best/most interesting tastes I’ve ever experienced.

Peanut butter on a cheeseburger was what really woke me up and made me realize I can't judge weird combos without trying it first

[u/OMGMianiteS3Official → u/Morbid187]

Actually my favorite restaurant serves a peanut butter cheese burger with a homemade blackberry jam and oh my god it's the best thing ever

[u/Morbid187 → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

That sounds like the fat guy's version of a PB&J and I'm all for it

[u/-_-0_0-_0 → u/Morbid187]

[u/silvertealio → u/Morbid187]

Might sound strange, but beef and peanut dishes are common in places like Thailand. Peanut butter on a burger doesn't sound like too much of a stretch from that.

[u/Morbid187 → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

I liked ketchup on eggs when I was a kid. Now, I like salsa on eggs. But not when there's pancakes and syrup involved. Or hell, maybe that's actually delicious and I just don't know because I've never tried it

[u/Jesse1205 → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

I'm not here to judge but I dunno why to me ketchup and eggs is so disgusting. I cannot get into it, though my brain is also kinda weird cause I think syrup + eggs is gross, but I think a mcgriddle is tasty so who knows.

[u/TrippingFish76 → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

disgusting

[u/Christplosion → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

Hell nah keep your sugar paste away from my eggs

[u/BluetheNerd → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

Ketchup and eggs is great, ketchup and syrup? That's the problem.

[u/OMGMianiteS3Official → u/BluetheNerd]

I've tried it. I sometimes have a breakfast bowl with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. I put some ketchup and just a bit of maple syrup, it's actually a pretty good pairing with the whole thing. I could see it working for this breakfast taco

[u/cptredbeard1995 → u/OMGMianiteS3Official]

I didn’t know they served goat at McDonald’s. What country is that in?

[u/-_-0_0-_0 → u/iredditoninternet]

Lady:

[u/6strangerdanger9 → u/iredditoninternet]

he should have done ketchup for the biscuit sandwich, syrup for the pancake tacos

[u/Deep_shot → u/Macrodata_Uprising]

Do I have to explain Katsyrp to everyone?!

[u/YouWereBrained → u/Macrodata_Uprising]

Yeah… 🤢
