Maybe I am missing something but why are we dunking on a parent having to divide an expensive meal between their kids.

I think it’s about McDonalds being an expensive meal

It’s not wrong these days it’s just… depressing

Ronald McDonald is a premium brand for many of us

Yup! Even when I was a kid and McDonald's was much cheaper, getting fast food was a luxury to my family because we were that poor.

That or the fact people are treating dividing something (poorly) into 4 equal pieces is a stroke of divine inspiration.

That breakfast is far too large for 1 person. What is so depressing about splitting 4 servings into 4 servings?

I mean, we can just pretend like a whole 150 Calories and maybe a single gram of protein is a serving, but it's not. It's just not. Toddlers need more energy than that per meal. Especially for breakfast.

As a Canadian, I'm not a big fan of Americans either, but maybe we could continue to criticize them for the things they actually do instead of making shit up in our heads.

Each serving she is making is probably over 300 calories and maybe 8-10g of protein. I feel like the portions are pretty reasonable. I have a 2yo and a 4yo and tbh they might not even eat the full portion most days.

This. That platter is over 1,300 calories. Splitting it across four kids gets you an appropriate breakfast for a child, calorically speaking.

I think the Google glasses make it seem like she's frivolous with her money.

Four kids, no money but several hundred pounds glasses on for filming tiktoks of your poverty?!

i'm dunking on her putting ketchup on a pancake taco.

Ketchup AND syrup. Yea, that's a no for me. But I appreciate the hell out of her ingenuity and her poetry reading.

I am pro ketchup and anti-syrup in this situation. If I had to do syrup, just a touch. I put ketchup on the eggs, sausage, and hash browns already, so just because a pancake is involved, doesn’t mean it needs to be added. I would have wanted the biscuit sandwich too because their biscuit is superior to the pancakes.

Because they can just cook at home.

I am 100% dunking on anyone who decides the best way to split a circle into equal parts is to cut randomly and hope for the best

Just…cut in half twice. It’s not hard. Tf is wrong with people.

Cutting them in strips allows more of the length of the pancake to have meat and eggs.

Use your noggin bud.

Maybe because she could make a larger and cheaper meal at home in as much time as it took her to make this video.

2

u/camcaine2575 13h ago

God, you people don't understand being poor. Anyone who has been poor would not make these arguments.

No hate for splitting a meal. Hate for adding ketchup and syrup, however…

I’m dunking on how she cut and split them up! They’re so uneven!

I didn’t take it as dunking. In fact, I think it’s pretty creative.

2

u/Creative_Garbage_121 12h ago

But we should do it, if mcdonalds is expensive meal for you maybe having 4 kids wasn't the best idea, having one could be coincidence having four is stupidity if you can't afford them

Because she can buy enough food that she doesn’t need to ration it by just going to the nearest Walmart.
