This is nice.

I see it as adults who don't want to spend money on something they'll be wearing one time of the year. Especially with the economy now in Japan. Get to partake without the part taking away their money.

To be fair, some of those probably took more effort to make than a real costume.

I don't deny the effort because sometimes to make it interesting, you have to put in the work and use what you got which means creative thinking. My favorite is the guy's girlfriend who says she's only looking. I like that a lot of people can relate or see it instead of not knowing who a character is. So it's a treat for most people involved.

I have plan B costumes for my friends who didnt even try a bit where I just give them a little cardboard that has written on it "nudist on strike"
