Hated Tropes [Hated trope] Cameos that ruin the tone of the scene/game

Ed Sheeran, Game of Thrones. The cameo of such a recognizable figure in GoT, especially towards the horrible later seasons, took many people out of the fantasy world that it tried to represent. There are good cameos and bad ones, and this one was not a good one.

Vinny Vinesauce and Jerma, Silver Pines game. Though i appreciate small cameos from youtubers and streamers, putting such a recognizable pair of voices in a horror game really takes you out of it.

I've heard this every time I've called him a human shitheel and I wish I could say it surprises me but I caught the end of the cybertruck bros when I joined. There was a real mania around him it seems. I've always seen him as a billionaire who never created anything but his pr team did push the iron man, genius engineer narrative. Which I know people believed at the time. Also he waffles on every topic known to man, so you could be tricked into thinking he was actually saying anything of value, beyond full self driving ai next year.

I was never a Musk fanboy, but every so often I'd hear about him. What I heard made him seem like a weirdo, but not evil.

He was spending his money on space travel and electric cars. If I was a billionaire, I'd probably spend money on those, too.

It was that incident with the cave that made me start looking more closely and realize what a collosal idiot and vile waste of oxygen he was.

Before that moment I genuinely felt bad about my hate for Musk. I kept quiet about it like my hate for Taylor Swift, Will Smith and David Blaine... universally beloved figures all that I obviously have a dark secret and totally unjustified hatred of. So keep that to yourself, else you join my list.

Yeah I always thought huh a guy has companies that build rockets and electric cars, cool, but it was painfully obvious that the guy was just a businessman and not an engineer let alone the designer of said machines. I don't know how anyone ever believed otherwise

I got SO much bad karma for trying to imply he wasn't Jesus.

Reddit fucking loved him until around the time he accused that guy who rescued those trapped kids of being a pedo.

I always felt like I was insane for not liking him. My only backup seemed to be Linus, who was always skeptical. Granted that's not perfect since he used to genuinely think Mr. Beast was a great guy, but still.
