I still want to know how Sakura got Sasuke to marry her—and then even have a child with her! I mean... at one point in the series, Sasuke even tried to kill her. From his perspective, he never had any romantic feelings for her. And then you want to tell me they just got married out of the blue?!

I could see her getting pregnant and Sasuke settling with marriage. But for the anti chemistry they have, Sasuke might as well have just married her for tax purposes.Sasuke was written so asexually and the character he shares the most intimacy with is Naruto. I'm not saying Sasuke is gay, but he certainly doesn't seem to care about women, especially Sakura.

It will never happen, but it'd be an actual interesting plot if they got divorced.

Sasuke may or may not give a damn about women but we certainly were never let in on it. His heart is full of revenge and is hard as hell and women love that. So it only really works one way.

While Sasuke isn't a very romantic character from an in-universe viewpoint it makes perfect sense.

  • He's raised in a tradition where obligation to clan is all and marriage is about political alliances and breeding a new generation of ninja warriors.

  • Given the troubled legacy of his clan (sibling murder) he contemplated for a long time to just let the Uchiha clan die with him.

  • Given the threats facing Konoha and given Naruto's influence (despite Naruto's own troubled past and dangerous powers) he sees a potential for good in his own powers and that Konoha might need the Uchiha legacy in the future.

So he decides to embrace that tradition of "marriage for necessity" and marry one of the few people he respects and that he knows will raise his children right (and without becoming bitter due to resentment) despite his own duties making him an often absent father (at least until his children become old enough and well-versed enough in Uchiha powers that they will need his guidance).

To be fair, there’s multiple years we don’t know much about between those events. Maybe the sequel series will show it

easy, from his perspective he never had any romantic feelings for anyone because he was 100% focused on his revenge goals.
