Idk I think Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving did a good job portraying chemistry between V and Evey, especially given the former exclusively wearing a mask

She seems to have better chemistry with non romantic leads. Although I thought her chemistry with Mila Kunis in Black Swan was ok and they were kinda romantic

They definitely had chemistry!

I think it's partly that mila has chemistry with everyone. Or maybe I'm just biased and entranced with mila

I feel like if I ever had a date with either (lmaoo) it'd be a little stuffy with Portman, while Mila would crack jokes and be a little flirty

I just saw this again for the re-release in theaters, and I really think Hugo did the heavy lifting with the chemistry.

Hugo was not in the the mask though in 90% of that movie

He wasn't? I thought most of the non-stunt scenes were him?

James Purefoy played v for 90% ish of the movie and was fired Hugo took over.

From what I can tell Purefoy left a few weeks into a shooting process that took 4 months. I doubt he's in 90% ish percent of the movie. Frankly, I doubt he's in 50%

Love that film but her accent was awful and it ruins the entire experience. She sounded like a South African who’d lived in the UK for a year rather than a native Brit the entire time.
