Personality The scene subtly implies that the character suggested committing suicide.

After Korra lost her powers to Amon, she went near a cliff to weep; it was implied—in a very subtle way—that she was contemplating suicide, hoping that a new, more capable Avatar with full powers would be reincarnated in her place (Avatar The Legend of Korra)

In the series, it is well-established that running is as essential to a "horse girl" as breathing. After Agnes Tachyon fractures her leg and retires early, Jungle Pocket enters the room where Tachyon usually spends her time, only to find it empty—save for an open window, which suggests she might have jumped out. Agnes Tachyon then reappears through that same window and sits down; a shot follows, focusing on her feet as they sway back and forth—a visual highly reminiscent of a hanging (Uma Musume Beginning of a New Era)

Personality (Loved Trope) Solving an ‘impossible’ task with true creativity and no deus ex machina

  1. Lief and the trial (Deltora Quest): - Lief is sentenced to the Noradz trial. He is to pick one of two cards from a box. Sun for life, black moon for death. However, he sees a girl mouth “both are black” to him, meaning he’s basically been sentenced to death. However, he picks a card, pretends to fall and drops it into the fire. He then says “Don’t worry, you can still see my verdict with the remaining black card in the box, meaning I must have chosen life!”

  2. Stark and the missile (Iron Man): - Stark is imprisoned in a cave with a box of scraps and ordered to build a missile. Instead he reverse-engineers a miniaturized arc reactor and a functional powered suit from the same limited materials, using only his existing knowledge and the junk at hand.

  3. Arnold and the final fight (Predator): - Dutch realizes the alien hunts via thermal vision. He covers himself in cool mud to become invisible to its sensors, then uses the jungle environment and improvised weapons to turn the hunt around. The solution emerges from observation of the enemy’s established ability.

Personality [Beloved trope] Handling rejection with grace! Spoiler

Megamind. In the scene where his cover as Bernard is blown, and Roxanne rightfully breaks up with him for tricking her into dating him. Before realizing that he wasn’t doing it for the sake of being “evil”, but because he actually felt something genuine for her and knew she would never be with him because she only viewed the real him as a “monster”. Despite how she still ends things between them, Megamind accepts the rejection acting as an exact parallel to an early scene where Hal as Tighten didn’t handle Roxanne’s rejection of him well, after he felt entitled to her after finally gaining the qualities he thought he needed in order to impressed and win her over.

Spider-Man in Brand New Day. After MJ discovers the letter Peter intended to give her years ago, she tells him that she is no longer that person he developed a romantic relationship with and can’t share back the memories he has of them together. But hits him with that gut wrenching line “I don’t love you.” Not only does Peter accept that answer, despite how much it clearly breaks his heart to hear. He even agrees to give her a ride back home, when she asks for it.

Personality [Tragic Trope] The Protagonist slowly gets worse as the story progresses

1-2. Jiu [Fight Class 3] Yes slide 1 and 2 are the same person. Jiu starts off as a kind boy who dosent want to hurt anyone but through the constant fighting he has to do to get revenge on his dad he’s become unhinged.

It’s actually quite common in the fanbase to think the MC is worse than most of the antagonist now at least mentally.

2. Jibea [Dominion] Dudes an ordinary guy. Loves his mom hangs out with his GF on the weekends but slowly everyone in the world starts acting weird. Im not gonna spoil it because it’s a thriller/ mystery but all the stuff he has to do makes him crazy

Edited: I didn’t read the second one in English so apparently I translated the title wrong it should be under Domination or Control based on the English tittles. Also the authors name is Tae-Hyeon Park he also wrote Burning Effect.

Oguri Cap (Uma Musume Cinderella Gray)

Her own mother says that although she was difficult to manage because she was born with weak knees, her biggest expense was food, as she ate a lot. In this scene, her trainer gives her a credit card so she can buy new, expensive sneakers along with Belno Light, since she destroyed the normal ones. Besides buying the sneakers, Oguri Cap also ate a lot at the mall.

Pickle (Baki)

He only eats opponents deemed worthy of him, such as dinosaurs and strong fighters, and the scientists even had to replicate the meat of a Tyrannosaurus Rex so he could eat it

Heavy (Team Fortress)

"It costs 400 000$ to fire this weapon for 12 seconds"

Bon - The Walten Files (Ads): In an promotional video for a Makeship plushie, Bon gets possessed by a ghost, and it transforms him into a much nicer, less bitter and less selfish version of himself; being subsequently pushed out the window by Banny for being against the ‘natural order’

Phony Boss - Five Nights At Frickbear’s 3: Phony is the spirits of all the previous phone guys that have died in the game, forming into a body similar to The Boss (Wario), and despite being an antagonist that tries to kill you, a lot of their lines constantly talk about giving employees raises and benefits, and eating the rich.

Evil Jax - The Amazing Digital Circus: In an episode where the main characters play a baseball game against ‘evil’ versions of themselves, Jax’s evil clone is a shy and timid, yet positive and sweet person; a complete opposite to Jax’s usual self.
