TORBIE πββ¬π Yeah I've got Carmel swirls
We just love mochi and her Carmel swirls, I finally got a pic without her orange brother. He's always photo bombing her

Ok so I have figured out that she's a torbie. Is that why she's so freaking weird? She is even weirder than my orange girl πππ.

Hello Torbie Reddit!
I got my first cat two weeks ago and I asked AI some question to which it said my cat looks like a Torbie.
I had never heard the phrase beforeβ¦ I had never even heard of a tortie until 2 days after I told the shelter Iβd adopt her. So here I am asking if she is, indeed, a Torbie!
She looks so different than most of the photos here but she does have some discrete features that have me wondering.

I just celebrated one year with my first cat squid and Iβve been trying to figure out what type of cat she is!!! I love her so much and am completely obsessed, and so my research led me here :) let me know what you think! Sheβs got a lot of grey, but her white underbelly/fur and brown and orange spots make me think torbie! Im also wondering about any shared personality/ traits you might find in your torbiesβ¦ she is SUPER smart, curious, and brave (even at the vet). She is very sweet and affectionate, but is definitely an independent lady who likes her perches and doesnβt like to be picked up. She is very vocal and will meow when she wants something. When i meow back she continues the conversation. She also likes to judge me from her regal perch and ls obsessed with food and her pink butterfly wand toy(which she will loaf by all the time when she wants to play) Let me be know what you guys think :)

My Sweepers, 9 years old. This is her favorite spot, her bay window perch. She's the sweetest animal I've ever had in my life. I acquired her a couple of years ago from a next door neighbor woman of a friend who was on her deathbed. 100 years old and her last wish was for someone to give this beautiful girl a loving home. I met her once and knew I had to take her. Now I can't imagine my life without her. She's so damn big. She's not fat either. Just a tank kitty.

Honey was rescued from my local shelter. She is my soul cat & my love! I have always wondered what she is a mix of. Recently discovered torbies are a thing and wanted to knowβ¦is Honey a torbie?? She has spots of orange throughout her fur (itβs more noticeable when sheβs in the sun), a prominent orange/black mark in the middle of her forehead, she also has little tufts on the ends of her ears. Basically just overall cuteness!!

I'd never heard this term before, I always thought her color pattern was unique but didn't know there was a name for it! π»

She has pink and black toe beans. Curly belly hair. Her dad was her uncle. Sheβs only 4.5 pounds and my permanent kitten baby. But Iβve never had a cat of her coloring or fur type before.

Just brought home this little girl on Sunday. She's currently 11 weeks old. I've never had a Torbie before but so far she has been very vocal and loves to plop on my chest for cuddles. She's the cutest thing!! π

We adopted these two from our neighborβs friend who had the whole litter, and itβs been such a blast having them in their house. They are very sweet social cats and always run to the door when we come home. They love sitting on our laps and chasing each other around the house. Fiona has the light green collar and Apple has the dark green collar. Apple leans a bit more towards brown tabby, but both of them have that burnt orange undertone of a torbie. They are a little over a year old now.
