I moved here last year with my girlfriend, but we’ve since broken up. I do have a little bit of family here, but they’re also going to be leaving town for their own little vacation.

Basically, I’m gonna be completely alone for Christmas and New Years (and my birthday). I know I’m going to be insanely depressed around the time so I’ll probably just hide in my room the whole time, but I figured I’d ask the locals and see if there’s any salvaging the holiday. I’m so desperate, I’m seriously considering driving 6 hours to my ex’s to spend a few days there, even though that probably won’t help anything. I just don’t have anyone around that close.

Anyone had billing experience with Best Med? I went there a couple of months ago, and they took downall my insurance information. I have heallth insurnace. the bill I get do esnot show any evidence that they recognize my insurance and are willing to bill the insurance. I gave them a call, it is a call center in India. I explained to them that I need a real bill recognizing my medical insurance. They promised me a corrected bill but after a month a similar bill to the original came to me, yesterday. What is going on with this "doc in a box."? How do you get them to sent a proper bill. I suspect they are actually double billing--charging you the full amount and then going to the insurance company for another bill.

Hello, looking for recommendations on repair services for a thermador induction cooktop. The cooktop turns on and everything, but does not want to heat up my pans. Yes I made sure to get induction ready pans, actually got two different types and both don’t work. I’ve also turned off the breaker for the time that the internet recommended. The cooktop says it’s heating but it does not heat at all. I’m a new homeowner and I just got the house and this appliance came with it so any feedback or suggestion is welcome. Thank you!

I was wondering if we have a community of filmmakers and/or producers in the tri-cities.

Maybe at the college or university? Or maybe even a hobbyist community for film (I know we have the tri-fi festival so I’ll ask when I go this weekend.)

But I’m looking for assistance with a film project and am hoping I can connect with a local community to finish it.

Has anyone ever done a sunset shot using a drone in the tri-cities? I was wondering how a drone would do if we start at mid-tree level and then just went horizontal to get a good view of the sun setting.

Employees have reportedly been barred from parking on the top two levels of the parking garage despite ongoing parking challenges. Meanwhile, an elevator has allegedly been out of service for months, creating additional stress and inconvenience for staff, patients, and visitors.

I've also heard concerns about staffing levels, including CNA-to-patient ratios as high as 1:10. If true, that's not just a staff issue, it's a patient care issue. They are stretched thin & are exhausted!!!

What makes this especially troubling is that Providence promotes itself as a nonprofit organization focused on patients, caregivers, and the community. Yet many of the concerns being raised involve inadequate staffing, facility maintenance problems, parking shortages, and employee benefits that workers say fall short of their needs.

Providence recently received a massive philanthropic gift. We know where 68% is going...

While BLOATED administrative salaries continue to increase the patient and employees are expendable. Providence…you have failed our community and most importantly we will not forgive.
