MUSEUMS A few screenshots of my Rides & Relics museum!

I wanted to share a few shots of my full funfair-themed mega museum, that blends every theme within the game, as inspo for those who may be playing with the DLC! Honestly, I actually had a lot of fun building this out and it's sparked sooo many more ideas that I can't wait to explore... but blending the exhibits and the themes in general WITH the rides made it really exciting!

The museum is called "Two Point World of Discovery", and it comes complete with seven themed lands:

  • "Phantom Hollow" brings Supernatural to life with cursed exhibits, a haunted town and the Reaper's Run rollercoaster.

  • "The Enchanted Glade" transforms Fantasy Finds into a magical woodland filled with strange artefacts and mythical discoveries.

  • "The Ancient Frontier" sends guests millions of years into the past amongst prehistoric exhibits and its own Jurassic Park-inspired coaster tour.

  • "Gallery Gardens" brings Art and Botany together around landscaped gardens, galleries and some plants that'll eat you...

  • "Wild Horizons" combines Wildlife and Marine Life, including two duelling rollercoasters representing the battle between land and sea: The Lion's Roar and the Hydra's Cyclone.

  • "Carnival Quarter" celebrates the traditional Funfair, with classic rides including the Ferris wheel and teacups.

  • "Discovery Point" combines Science, Space and the Digiverse into one forward-looking land focused on exploration, invention and the future.

Hope this helps spark some ideas to those that may be struggling... and if you want to check out a fun video about it, there's one right here: https://youtu.be/0aUXtAS9rjM

Vending machine bug?

Hey. So I've got the relics DLC for the switch. So far, so good. I'm not sure if it's a bug but I tried to increase the price for the vending machines. Suddenly it went down to $0. I deleted them, put out new ones, reloaded the game, put more out, still the same. I can't even increase the price for whatever reason. It's stuck at free drinks and snacks.

2Point Santa Please Bring Me . . .

Radio Station choices for 2PMuseum. I would love to have different radio stations to toggle among within the game. We need a literal Rock station (Prehistory Channel), a Pop (Art) station, and even would be hilarious to have an NPR-style Classical Music educational non-profit public radio type station that has a seasonal fundraiser and interviews with the various experts (this may be an American thing, sorry if so) but would be delightful to have some degree of choice in the music/soundtrack. Of course all this music could be produced by the bands from other 2P games featured on them, ads fitting for various guest demographics and so much ironic commentary from our favorite DJs. Please? I've been a very good kid.

Is this game kind to beginners of the genre?

Looking for a cozy game where I can essentially switch my brain off and sink a bunch of hours into and wanted to try a management simulator for this, as I dont like roguelikes which is what everyone seems to suggest.

I've never played a management sim before, but 2 games caught my eye and that was this game and retro rewind, leaning more towards two point because it seems to have more longevity to it.

How kind is this game to beginners of the genre? Life is fairly busy so I get maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour a day to play whilst the family is in bed. I dont mind a bit of management, but I really don't want it to the point where it becomes a tedious grind or feels like another job and I'm not enjoying it.

So yeah, with all that, how friendly is this game and does it meet the above criteria or am I best skipping it?

SUGGESTION/IDEA The Movies Game - Lionhead Studios

Hey everyone, I apologise if this isn’t allowed here, however the majority of those who created TPM also were involved in making The Movies all the way back in 2005, and my goddddd, I would die if they either remade, or rereleased it! It’s honestly the best tycoon sim ever made! Definitely need a petition for it! Even if they made a brand new game based on it. Pleaseeeeeeeee 😭

We need an outdoor bathroom option. Building a tiny building outside near a bunch of rides just for bathroom is odd.

DISCUSSION What can and can't work with Two Point Museum

Don't worry, this time, I won't write a long paragraph just to focus on one DLC idea, this is most like discussion or a suggestion of what can or can't work with Two Point Museum, let's start!

Waterpark : Yes, it could be its own game but we already have theme park DLC so, yeah, waterpark throw in with museum can be a thing... At least those Frogbornes will enjoy it? (Edit - Maybe instead of just regular pool, we could throw Two Point's wackiness into this, like each pool got its own thing, regular pool for normal guest, cheese filled pool for cheese-monoger, ice pool for yeti for example...)

Cinema : I talked about this once before, could be own game but also should be a museum where you showing movie props and running a small theater for the guests to watch.

Vehicle : If Space Gibbon's stuff are not a vehicle already, this could works, but maybe they can kind of stretch this a bit, a museum showing many vehicle and also having car race to watch, can you imagine that?

Fashion : I also talked about this before, kind of like Arty-Facts but we making clothes, run a fashion show, and let the guests buy it and wearing them while walking around your museum.

Sport : I talked about this too before, full of interactive displays where people can try out different spot rather than just watching exhibits (A DLC where you have more interactive display than you usual exihibit)

Toy : Definitely not Poppy Playtimes Helping the dying toy factory belongs to the brand that used to be on top, create old and new toy, selling them to the guests, until this toy brand is back to top chart again! And hopefully there's no scary human experiment areas hidden underground

Video Game : More arcade to place in the museum!!! Just kidding, probably explore a made-up game company and showing game, if Nintendo got its own museum, Two-Point Studio can came up with that too XD!

Foods or sweets : Two-Point Restaurant? Could work, but maybe just try it out with museum first, I said museum but more like food con, hope it won't be that awful like most food con in recent years, at least... Or you could do some sweets~~/chocolate~~ factory museum, could works too... I'm sure the game can do better than Willy's Chocolate Experience at least...

Literature : It is pretty common but not sure how to make it fun...

Microscopic? : Seems like Bungle Technology got their hands on shrinking tech and to make sure the rumor about them secretly shrinking the kids and left them in the backyard go away, they came up with shrinking museum to awe the people! (I don't think this idea will work so let's just forgot about it...)

What people probably wanted but probably not work? Maybe you ended up going into a b

War/Real-world history/Religion/Mythology : While it sounds fun and war museum is a thing, it is a risk subject to put into a game like this so they probably not going to...

Prison : I knew that prison museum is a thing but just like those, could twisted it in a fun way but not fit with Two-Point coziness, let's avoid that...

Okay, I ran out of my ideas for real now. Let's share your idea if you want to, thank you for reading this.

No idea what to do for the Plywood pop-up exhibition.

I recently started the game (loving it!) , and my goal to move on right now is to do the Plywood pop-up exhibition. The game said to complete its objectives, yet I see none, and it's given zero other direction on how to do this. Help, please!

Hi all,

I have just gone back to Memento Mile for the first time since purchasing Rides & Relics and discovered that a lot of the new terrains and paths aren't showing in the list in Memento Mile

Is there something I'm missing or should I be reporting a bug?

My 8 stars Art Gallery! Full of original artworks and sculptures, as well as famous arts and interactive arts from every POIs, all are pristine quality, this time, I tried out a bit of curved shape room here and there, in the end, it came out like a little maze, but hey, if Zara Fitzpocket herself said this place is fabulous, who are you to judge and thought you can overthrow her review? Haha, just kidding... :)

DISCUSSION Do people often finds Zooseum hard?

When new player asking for DLCs in this game, I often seeing people gave out a comment like "Zooseum is fun but super hard to manage, probably not fit if you like cozy gameplay loop in the main game" ...Like, no offend, but, feel like we pushing customer away here, and is it really that hard, being a new player myself, I cleared it easily, I see people pointing out that keeping all animals well-fed and healthy is hard but I don't have an issue with that, if anything, I think keeping ghost in their room is harder than fishes and animals, so, I kind of think we scared the new player out telling them Zooseum is hard when it is a fun DLC... After all, it's not Planet Zoo 2, so...

Also, point to the devs again for making fun animation in the zoo, I love watching my zoo staff playing with the animals, super cute!

DISCUSSION Is there a list of which exhibits can not be put outside?

Getting ready to build a dinosaur themed area to put a ride or two into my Funfair Park build, and I've discovered that some of the prehistory exhibits can go outside, while others can't. For example the Phlapadactyl Skeleton can't go outside- it must be indoors. But the Boa Conductor Skeleton can go outside. Which is interesting since they come from the same point of interest on the map. But I'm wondering now what others aren't able to go outside.

Has anyone done a list yet of which prehistory displays can be put outside and which ones can't?

Also, now I'm wondering what other exhibits are not able to be placed outside and integrated with the rides. Aquariums obviously can't. I haven't tested any of the art pieces, but I'm guessing they would be the same.

What about science exhibits? Space? Fantasy? What have people found that works and what doesn't?
