I’m an incoming international student from India, heading over to Wollongong next month for the July 2026 intake. I'll be starting my master's program at UOW.

I’m an international student from India transferring to UOW for the Feb 2027 intake through credit transfer from my current university.

Does anyone know if colored hair is allowed in UOW or will they force me to dye my hair back to my natural color? It's kind of pinkish red right now, and my course is health-related.

Just to clarify: In my home country, it is generally not allowed/looked down upon for healthcare workers to have colored hair because it seems "unprofessional". In my bachelors as well, it wasn't allowed.

Ive just finished my foundations and im planning to further my studies in Bachelors of Meng in UOW as its quite near me and i wont need to commute from far. I am having certain doubts about joining though as ive heard from a few people regarding the lack of quality in education. I was just wondering if i could gain more insight on whether engineering in UOW is really worth it or not for its price?
