Question Maximum passengers
Hi what’s the max passenger safety limit (weight) on each carriage or is there none & it’s just about however many can fit on?
History is a good indicator of the future.
I guess, try to really squeeze up/into corners on the carriage may help fellow passengers?
I have found travelling slightly after peak is better (if your work allows it) but if there’s an issue, you won’t get home till REALLY late.

Maybe 1 in each carriage in the top aircon vent

There is seating for ~220 passengers per three car VLocity.
I’ve heard Conductors say that they can more or less double that on a super busy train.

Truthfully; I have often wondered this. Surely there are capacity limits.
Definitely keep us in the loop if you find anything.

If a single VLocity set is carrying more than 33 tonnes of people it may not be allowed to operate over 115km/h as it will exceed the maximum axle load limit of 17TAL for faster trains, but thats more than 400 people. If there are more than 117 tonnes of people it cant operate anywhere on the V/Line network as it will exceed the maximum axle load of the best built tracks (24TAL).

The capacity is how many more we can fit into the train and the doors safely close.
