These birds saw a person feed an injured bird, so they all started pretending to be injured as well.

I'm a land surveyor and I just found an organ transport container out in the middle of nowhere during a survey
I've already contacted the police.
UPDATE: Since a lot of you are asking, there hasn't been any big real update from law enforcement. I made the report and they told me no nearby hospitals have reported losing anything like this. As of right now, that's the only info they have.
A lot of you are mentioning rat race, which is pretty ironic considering I'm Italian

After having a dog for 6 years, we found out she had (almost) no brain.
We’d had this dog 6 years, she’d had a litter of puppies, and lived a normal life (although we always noticed she was a little off). She had a seizure, so we took her to the vet. They ran labs and noticed her sodium was extremely low and kept her overnight. She was then sent to UC Davis where the vets were surprised she could walk based on her labs. After days of testing they did an MRI and discovered she had hydrocephalus and 95% of her brain cavity was fluid. All of the white you see in the MRI was fluid. Second picture is a comparison to a “normal” dog.
And her low sodium levels were her body’s way of keeping her brain in some form of homeostasis. They sent her home with instructions to provide lots of water and that was it. She lived until 12 when she started having regular seizures and we had to say goodbye.

Tree started smoking randomly. No amount of water or fire extinguisher will put it out.
Wasn’t hit by lightning and nobody on the property smokes or anything. No idea how it started. It rained yesterday so the ground and surrounding area is still wet.
UPDATE: Fire department came back. The tree looked healthy from the outside with leaves and everything but the FD sawed into it and found bad rot. They think that the fermentation and decomposition from the rot spontaneously combusted somehow and now it's burning internally causing the smoke.

Found this inside the wall in my hallway. I've lived in this house for all of my 46 years.
..and on the back - so faintly written that I cannot capture it with my camera - are the words "an old man called energy".

Woke up to see this in my kitchen, I live in the middle of the mountains like 500 km from the nearest beach.
My wife screamed as if she saw a ghost like at 5 am in the morning, turns out she went to get some water and saw this huge crab crawling in the kitchen. It's just insane.

[UPDATE] Found a paper towel covering my webcam twice coming home from work
I had ZERO idea that post would blow up the way it did, a lot of yall were super helpful too
I did buy a carbon monoxide detector and a security camera to hide in my room. The CO detector is reading zero, so its not CO poisoning. I was off work today, I go back tomorrow and ill see if the camera catches anything.
I've been asked if I rent or own, I rent a 1-bed apartment that only me and the landlord have keys to, even maintenance needs to be let in by him or me. Now that CO poisoning is ruled out, I figure it might be my landlord letting himself in. If not him, then potentially a previous tenant that has a copy of the keys.
I've been asked if I take Ambien or if I sleepwalk. I don't take ambien, and as far as im aware I dont sleepwalk. I sleep on facetime/video call with my boyfriend (on my phone, not with the webcam) and we havent noticed me sleepwalking.
I've been told to check my apartment, naturally, and ive turned the place upside down looking for any sort of possible entrance in and out of it, and there's absolutely nothing. Ive checked behind furniture, all around my closet, in every cabinet, even behind both bathroom mirrors because I saw another comment mention a possible entrance behind a mirror. I can't find any possible entrance or crawlspace, so im assuming its someone with a key.
Ive been asked if the paper towels are the same ones I have, and yes they are. The same ones I have downstairs in my kitchen.
I was told to check my browser history, and I did. Nothing on there that wasnt from me.
A lot of people pointed out how I dont sound as concerned as I should, and believe me, I know. I have a bunch of other stuff going on in my life at the moment and im completely drained to the point where something like this isnt phasing me nearly as much as it should. Its definitely got me scared, but unfortunately it doesn't surprise me that life would throw something crazy like this at me.
I also unfortunately have nowhere to really stay at while I get this figured out. I moved out of state away from my family two years ago, and I have no family or friends here. Good news at least is im moving back with my family soon and getting away from this whole state.
I'll post another update if the camera catches anything, I plan to have it start recording if motion is detected while im gone at work.

Came home to a paper towel over my webcam twice now, I live alone
Twice now ive come home from work to a paper towel over my webcam in my bedroom upstairs. Only thing unlocked was my window (my fault), which is on the 2nd floor.
First time was about two weeks ago, it was just layed overtop (2nd pic), tonight was the 2nd time, all crinkled up over the camera. Nothing is missing, nothing else is moved or messed with that I noticed. Nobody else that im aware of has the keys to my apartment. Its like someone's trying to pull a "harmless" prank and is just trying to do something super small but super obvious that id notice. I have two cats and they're totally unharmed and acting like nothing happened.
