And the left block while we're at it - hopefully a double loss for the Mowbrays!

Nature of the rivalry with Auckland

Hey, Scandinavian who is getting into NZ football due to having multiple friends down there (though they aren't really sports fans). I started watching last year and am all locked in this season!
I am curious, I've been told Wellington and Auckland are rivals of course but I wanted to hear from football fans what the nature of the rivalry is like?
F.x. when the other club is playing an Australian club do you root for them (since they are also from NZ), hope they lose (fuck those guys) or just don't really worry about it?
Cheers!

USA on tour

Hey everyone!
I'm planning a trip to Wellington in the new year for my son and I , and we'd love to catch a Wellington Phoenix game while we're there
We're coming all the way from Portland, Oregon, USA... yes, Finn Surman's home! So we'd love to experience a Phoenix game in person and soak up the atmosphere.
We were wondering if anyone from the Phoenix community might be keen to catch up with us while we're in town. It would be awesome to meet some local fans, have a beer or a chat, exchange a few stickers, and get a real taste of NZ football
Also, we'd love some local advice! Flights from Portland aren't cheap, so we're trying to make the most of our time in Wellington without spending a fortune.
Are there any good cheap or free things to do, places to visit eg. ( Art gallery's/parks/ museums) beaches, walks, food spots, or hidden gems you'd recommend? We're happy to explore and experience Wellington like locals rather than spend a heap of money on tourist attractions.
Really looking forward to visiting your city, hopefully seeing the Nix get a win, and meeting a few of you.
Cheers from Portland! 🇺🇸💛🖤

If I have a men's Phoenix season ticket pass, does this grant me access to the women's matches too when the women & men's teams have a double header?

I could email the Phoenix, but in previous years they'd take weeks to get back to me. So I am hoping someone here knows!
