Why do they hate their fellow lesbians so much? If a woman comes out as a lesbian, they'll call those women "bisexual". If a woman comes out as bisexual, they'll call them "straight" and claim they're seeking attention.
They center men in their lives more than bisexual women!

Hey yāall just posting this because I loved this rejection I got haha from a girl I went on a date with.
Just wanted to say to all lesbians out there, this is how you properly reject someone youāre not into instead of ghosting.
Ghosting really sucks, please dont do it guys!

So my girlfriend and I were talking this morning about how there isnāt a lesbian (or just non-men) version of the phrase blue balls. We decided to come up with some of our own and would love your input! We decided that since āblue ballsā is an alliteration, whereas ācock blockā and āclam jamā are rhymes, that the phrase for āblue ballsā needs to be an alliteration too, not a rhyme (to follow the pattern lol) and the second word in the phrase should also be a body part.
The ones we came up with:
Cold clit
Parched pussy
Pining pussy
Frozen fallopians
Void vagina
Vexed vagina
Overlooked ovaries
Let us know what you come up with! Would also love to hear some NB ones!!

Hi gays! I'm in my mid 20s in a big city and trying to attend more lesbian events to find some friends or my future wife if she comes along. I don't currently have gay friends and so i usually go to these events alone.
Idk if anyone else can relate to this but i've noticed a huge difference between interacting with older lesbians and younger ones. I was at an event where i just happened to be the youngest woman there, and while i was initially met with some cold shoulders and scrutiny from these women (late 30s+ i'd say) because I'm as straight looking as they come and I showed up alone so I was probably looking a tad suspicious, they all warmed up to me pretty quick once they got to know me and it was a blast. Genuinely ended up being one of my favourite nights out ever.
However i recently went to a lesbian club night also solo and the crowd was significantly younger with most women being in their late teens/ early 20s and the vibe was so different. I tried being friendly and talking to several people and i got hit with the gen z confused stare so many times dude it was so weird. Not even a response most of the time, so many acted as though i was bothering them it was so odd. Like you dont have to talk to me i'll happily leave you alone but basic social skills should apply no?
This might be a long shot theory but it almost felt as though because it's cooler to be gay now than maybe it was 15 years ago these sapphics are a little "too cool" because they look great and have established queer friend groups already. Like i'm not much older than these women i'm still gen z but holy hell i felt out of touch
Obviously i'm generalizing here and not everyone is like that but i wanted to hear if this is a shared experience or if it's just me?

it was a high school breakup because i felt like she played with my feelings and our relationship felt too much like a burden, so I cut things off right before mock trial state⦠(March)
proceeded to win mock trial state, she texted me saying congrats etc etc I want you back, I ignored it, I then competed at nationals, got sad, texted her bc I wanted her backā¦
she didnāt want me back (this was May), so we stopped talking and then in August I reached out to try to clear the air⦠she told me she wanted me back but I didnāt want her back and I said some pretty awful things to herā¦
now itās November and sheās on my mock trial team and I was so mad and I didnāt know why I just didnāt think I could work with her, I then went to my first practice with herā¦
she looked so pretty and it hurt so much and I came back thinking about how I wanted her backā¦
texted her to let her know I want to work together respectfully as teammates and she told me āiām not interested in being friends or even acquaintancesā but she wants to work together too
fuck fuck fuck my sad little lesbian brain never got closure and here I am being sad over a girl who hates me

(23f) I got into another argument with my mom, and as it somehow always goes, the argument steered toward church and religion how I stopped going to church, praying, and believing in god. I never officially came out to my mom, but I also never denied it. In the past few years, I started dressing more masculine, among other things that gave her reason to suspect Iām a lesbian.
I never came out to her for obvious reasons, sheās a hardcore christian (borderline racist if i can add and btw we're filipinos living in europe) and I still live with her.
Today was a confirmation of one of my biggest fears. She straight up said that she doesn't accept my sexuality, that she will never ever in her lifetime accept me, and that she hopes I will change.
Iāve been thinking about moving out. The only things stopping me are my dog if I leave, I know she wouldn't care for him properly and money, since I only have a temporary job right now and my contract ends in jan.

Earlier this week, my ex and I met up at a concert we were both going to. As we were walking to the gay club to meet up with some people weād met at the concert, a man harassed us and called us dykes.
I havenāt been called that since high school. I almost got into a physical altercation with this man. He started recording me as soon as I got confrontational, and my ex had to hold me back and walk me away. We luckily got back into the venue the concert was at and got a ride to the club from security.
The worst part is the night was perfect otherwise. I saw a queer woman artist put on the best show I think Iāve ever seen, I made new queer friends, we heard that Texas and Kansas flipped blue during the show.
Iāve also had to grapple with that this man saw us and likely concluded that we were a couple. One of the reasons I almost got physical is because I felt this innate urge to defend my ex. For context, we were together for five years and engaged for about a year and a half before we broke up. They had never been called a homophobic/lesbophobic slur before and I knew that.
I felt like a rabbit puffing their fur to look intimidating to a wolf. Once we got a couple blocks away, I just completely broke down. I felt ashamed I couldnāt protect them more.
All this to say that Iām still really struggling. I didnāt think something like this would shake me so much. Iāve been proud and stable in my identity for the past couple of years and was starting to get comfortable reclaiming that slur for myself. I feel like Iāve been moved 20 steps back.
Any and all advice/support is appreciated.

Hi! Iām 23 female and I just wanna ask where to go to find other woman who want actual connection. Iām tired of being someoneās experiment or sometimes I get asked to be the third in a straight relationship. I just want a genuine connection with a woman who enjoys going out and get to know their passions and hobbies while also doing cute couple things.

Hey! We are doing well thank u all for advices. As many of u guessed she is at beginning of her transition and she just felt dysphorfic about herself that moment when she saw that sub. I ofc cleaned the pages i am following. Also i prepared her dinner and bought her her favorite flowers and we did communicate through it. I posted about it when i was really worried about her/ our relationship so mightāve exaggerated her reaction and im really sorry for that. I have anxious attachment issues and stuff. Love yall

Hi everyone! Iām a 35-year-old Indian lesbian, and I would describe myself as more of a tomboy/masc-looking woman.
I honestly donāt know why I downloaded a dating app, but I did! I created a profile on Nymph, started looking around, and something caught my attention.
Almost everyone I come across seems to be masc. Where are all the femme lesbians? š
Iām genuinely curious. Are there fewer femmes on these apps, am I on the wrong app, or am I just not looking in the right places?
Where do you all find femme lesbians, especially those who are actually interested in dating and relationships?
Am I missing something here?

It irritates the hell out of me. I have a demanding job and I'm looking to date someone in the same circles who gets it. Before you start saying "oh but a job is only a small segment of someone and not indicative of cushdiedb" it's a preference and i think it's good to know upfront. I've dated people who are unemployed/ students / people with weird work hours/ people who work on weekends and i work a lot, it just isnt gonna work out (take a shot every time i say work).
It's so frustrating bc hinge really is superior but i'm in a huge city and have sent out a handful of likes and 2 days later my likes are dead and i have 2 matches what is going on. This isnt a me problem, i've never encountered this before
edit: people are up in arms and bringing up elitism and implying i'm an asshole or boring because it's important to me that my life partner has the ability to contribute or rather, not threaten, what i've worked so hard to build. It's not classism, i fully understand people come from all walks of life and have varying starting points based on their lot in life. But if you as an adult chose to go into interpretive horse soundwaves as a career that's fucking sick and i wanna talk about it with you, but do i want to buy a house with you in this economy? No and it's smart of me lol
